"Nick's was once the best place in all of atlanta to get traditional, great tasting, quality food. I've been working at Grady Hospital for almost 25 years, and Nick's was always my go to when I wa nted great greek food. NO more. I'm assuming the younger generation in the family has taken over the business and it's evident. They are selling french fries with a sprinkle of oregano and calling them Greek Fries. They are no longer slicing the meat, you're getting chips and pieces. Not to mention, mine had hair in it. "I HAVE PICTURES" And I cannot forget the tzatziki sauce, they are now someone's greek dressing. No longer, light and fresh tasting, but rather full of salt and whatever else they put in it. No more..... I hate it, but it is, what it is. the days of winning awards for best greek food are gone. I will call the Atlanta Journal Constitution and advise them of a great story of a "once" great place."

"Best Gyro in ATL hands down. I am glad to see this place is still here and still exactly as it has been. The area around Nick's used to be gravel lots and half vacant warehouses. Today Nick's stands out as a snapshot of the old neighborhood now surrounded by new apartments and condos. The shabby little brick building still stands, serving amazing Greek food through a little window with absolutely the least interaction with customers possible. Expect tight parking, limited outdoor seating, and a substantial wait before your name is yelled out the service window and you can gratefully accept your amazing food. Michelin has acknowledged the unique and amazing contribution of Nicks to Go with a small plaque. This place is not to be missed."

"I absolutely love Nick's. Best Gyros in Town, in my opinion. But, my experience which is always great, was less than on this day. There was a young lady working who was pretty rude to me. Not an ounce of pleasantries. I wanted to express her rudeness. But when you realize that someone doesn't seem to think they did anything wrong. You just move on. But just know that customer service is what makes a difference."
