"I took the shooting class head by Chris in May of 2022 and I learned a lot. It was annoying to have been shooting for 50 years and then finding out I was doing it wrong but what a difference in group size and knowledge I have gained. I'm primarily a hunter and with the knowledge I have now I haven't missed an animal with basically perfect shot placement on a bear, bull elk, two antelope, and a deer since then. I've also vastly improved my friends shooting by sharing what I have learned with them."

"For anyone considering the Mountain Hunter I wanted to write a review so you can appreciate what an awesome course this is. I have an upcoming sheep hunt and I wanted to be prepared. Living in the east there is no range out here that will allow up angle shots with cross canyon winds. So I went looking for a Mountain Hunting course and found this one sponsored by CR2. It was three days at one of the nicest ranges I have ever been to. The complex at Cameo is awesome and you can shoot out to 2000 yards on steel. It was three days of crawl (day 1) walk (day 2) run (day 3). To run I mean start with a timed gear deployment to shooting an unknow target, at an unknown distance with an unknown wind. Basically, find it, range it and engage it. Yeah, just like you would when going after a big ram. To say I learned a lot would be an understatement. You will learn that once off your belly no one is as good a shot as they think they are. You will learn to shoot angles and read wind. You will learn about your capabilities and that of your gear. You will get unbelievable instruction one on one, and on top of it all you will have an awesome time with like minded shooters. "I have had the pleasure of interacting with CR2's staff and tagging along to a couple of CR2 Shooting Solutions Courses. I like to think of myself as very critical of technical and institutional curriculums due to my teaching background and/or mastery in several different fields (marksmanship, aviation, scuba, fitness, cyber, etc.) based on my analysis of their curriculum and the adaptive learning model, I believe that their courses and validated subject matter expertise is worth the monetary investment. I have personally witnessed CR2's staff employ instruction that has special emphasis on Life-Long learning by way of instilling an attitude conducive to institutional, operational and continued self development.
