"I’m am a new patient of Dr. Angela Strother On my first visit she was very patient and understanding also a good listener she came up with a treatment plan that I felt very comfortable with I’ve been dealing with unbearable pain for a very long time this is the first time that I actually feel like I am going to actually get the treatment I need so I can have a better quality of life the staff was also nice and friendly!"

"6 years later and I'm still trapped in the nursing home system I had a review that was 5 paragraphs long- all he wanted to do was $1500 "pain shots" suffice it to say that "Dr$ Matthew's is a quack or a liar-he told me things like "methadone "makes up 2% of prescriptions and is responsible for 30% of fatalities from overdose" -- he discontinued my medication in 2017 saying he was referring me to Emory and 2 months later I was 40lbs underweight and in the hospital with malnutrition and shock from my CNS being overwhelmed with pain, adrenaline and a 2 month long anxiety attack. I was put in a nursing home to regain my health and get spinal decompression surgery -I told mathews for 2 years my legs were becoming paralyzed and he said I was fine- well Mr Matthew's- I have been in a wheelchair for 2 years now and in a nursing home for 5 years and it's all thanks to you ignoring my complaints about my legs and you cutting off my medication completely without any warning and NEVER referring me to Emory University- the resulting backlash from sudden lack of the pathetic half dose of pain medication- that wa was literally half the recommended treatment for severe traumatic brachial plexus avulsion injuries"

"My apt was at 10:15, wasn’t called back until 10:50. When I asked how they were running so late so early I got attitude from the staff. I made the comment that my time is just as important as theirs and if I am 15 min late for my apt they reschedule and charge me. The physician assistant (who is very nice) told me he wanted me back in 2-3 days. When I went to schedule my apt the lady at the counter told me they could see me in a week and half. I mentioned the dr wanting to see me back in 2-3 days. She stood up, looked at her coworker and said “you help her I don’t have time for this or her”. I was shocked. I demanded to speak with the office manager who wasn’t much better. It is absolutely disgusting how they treat their patients. I have also called my insurance provider with a formal complaint as well as my pcm for a new referral. I absolutely do not recommend this clinic. Staff is beyond rude and disrespectful"

"I am very pleased with the services of Dr. Joe and his staff. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and caring. I can't say enough about how great Dr. Joe has been to me. He's always so upbeat and friendly and really takes time to explain what my needs are and even keeps me laughing when in pain and going through a procedure. That's definitely a first for me and I'm so thankful that I was referred to him and Nexus Pain Center. Dr. Joe, you and your staff are the best!!!"

"The staff and Dr. Matthew is a Awesome group of professionals.Dr. Matthews cares and listens to your complaints and really tries to find the right treatment for that person. He has told me many times that "I'm a difficult one" but I know it's all in fun, He does his best to lift up every ones spirts, despite the pain they may be in. He is a genuine Dr. with such a caring soul! He staff is great as well, always willing to help any way that they can! The office is ALWAYS clean, friendly, and very caring. The wait time is non-existent. I'm truly happy with the way I get treated here. The most important thing is, I feel that they really listen to me, and does everything they can to help with "all of my cronic pain", unlike some Dr's who I don't feel like they take me serious about my pain. Great Job Nexus Pain Center! Keep up the great work! And to you Dr. Matthews.... I can't Thank you enough for taking the time to really help and find the BEST treatment for me. May God Bless all of you!"
