Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital

"If I could give it a zero I would. While there are a select few who know what they are doing and actually care, it's overshadowed by rude, clueless "nurses" and "doctors" who you rarely see. Since my mother came to this facility after her stroke it's been NOTHING but issues. Floratina the charge nurse is one of the most vile humans I've ever encountered. Her lack of empathy and knowledge of her "job" is less than stellar. Shame on wellstar and shame on the so called nurses who were no where to ever be found. Front desk and female security is wonderful."

"Orthopedic surgery here is a bit dicy. They rush you out and ask you to watch a video with awful sound quality after just waking up and still groggy. If you ask questions they will say either "ask your surgeon " or " I will get to that". The nurses are nice and care otherwise ample , but the entire process is not flexible. Refused to give me or call my doctor for any meds for acid refulx and heartburn . Kept telling me to eat and drink more when i was drowsy and nauseated. I felt rushed to complete the PT so i could go home. Got home and threw up at my door step , but they supposedly gave me nausea meds. Not a single person from this facility called us the next day or anytime after to check on me. The surgeon from Resurgens was very good however. Unfortunately this is my only choice where the surgeon operates out of."

"We had an amazing experience here with my 6 month old son who had to have orthopedic surgery. The nurses and doctors were incredible and super caring. They treated my son as there own and even comforted me when I got upset as they took him back to the OR. They were quick and attentive the entire visit. Honestly, the best hospital experience I had thus far. Thank you to the nurses and doctors for taking care of my baby!"

"This hospital is seriously a joke. They were NEVER on time with administering daily medications. It didn't do a bit of good to press the nurse call button, because they got IN NO HURRY to attend the patient. We were told that we could always call and check on the patient if we weren't able to be there at all times. We ended up having to wait hours for them to return our calls at night. I wont ever leave another loved one in the care of this hospital staff. Ever! Horrible place! I thank GOD it was only two weeks that we had to endure this."

"At this location they are usually on time for their imaging and you do not have to wait very long like you do at other hospital locations. The staff is nice but the paperwork is extensive."
