"There's a saying that where good food is that's where the line will be. This is the situation at Pippins. Expect GOOD food and friendly staff. Place will always be busy especially during holidays My family uses Pippins for Easter almost always like clockwork. Rated four stars as I've had better BBQ but it's still noteworthy to try. The stew is the prize though. Best place to get Brunswick stew in the Metro since Old Man Braxter himself died back in the day. I did rate it 4/5 also because of pricing. I get it. Inflation, supplies, cost of living etc, you pay for what you get. I've been going here since before a gallon of stew was $20 if not cheaper. So perhaps I'm too invested and biased there. But still worth the visit at least once to try the stew."

"From the second I walked in I really felt special , and as a hard time I had been having ; I have no words on how very much I appreciated their time kindness. "The establishment is clean. The staff is nice and professional. I’ve been here twice. I ordered wings and fries basket. The flavor was honey lemon pepper I loved that it was not salty. Good flavor."
"Really good food. It could have been a little cleaner but wasn't bad. It was not the best barbecue place I've had, but it was really good. The stew was the surprise. It's almost too good to just be a side. The ribs were cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. The chicken was solid, and the pulled pork was pretty good. I also had fried okra, and that was outstanding. If I was from the area I would go back for sure."
