"A great experience today at lunch. The cheesy beef tacos and the dipping broth were fantastic! The wait time was short and the service was very friendly. I have a new go-to spot inside Plaza Fiesta now."

"This was hands down, THE worst food experience I’ve ever had at Plaza Fiesta; and that says a lot considering how how crowded and chaotic the entire food court is. First of all, I was trying to maneuver 3 hungry children, getting my mother and grandmother’s orders. I placed the order and went back to sit down. Mind you, all of the restaurants are constantly calling out order numbers, and plus, the noise of 100+ people sitting in one large court.. well you can assume the sound decibels bouncing off the walls. (Seriously, someone should look into getting acoustic systems for this place; but I digress).. So, I wait for what seems like forever, then get paranoid thinking they might have already called my number. I walk back up to the counter and as nice as I can, so as not to seem pushy or like I’m rushing them, ask if they’ve called my order number out yet. The guy asked one of the ill mannered ladies cooking, and she rudely replies they’re order number 24, so haven’t even started mine. I went back and sat down, and waited and waited… and waited. I didn’t want to go back up and ask because of the attitude I’d gotten the first time I had dared to inquire about the status of my order. Anyway, *Spongebob Narrator voice* one eternity later, I figure it’s been way too long and go up and ask where my order is cause it’s been about an hour at this point. First of all, the guy says in a mocking tone “you’ve waited an hour? Your order had been up here an hour and you never came to pick it up”. He then says I need the actual ticket to get the food, mind you there’s no sign anywhere that says that if you happen to misplace that receipt , you won’t get your food, the food that you’ve already paid for. Won’t matter if you can recite the very specific things you’ve ordered, I guess they’ll just keep your food and eat it after their shift.. idk. Anyway, I thankfully.. or maybe not so thankfully? Found my receipt, just to have the rudest tortilla making lady/cashier snatch it, hand me a tray with food all stacked up and tell me again with a reprimanding, insolent, and overall rude tone, that the order had been there for an hour. No kidding Sherlock, this tortilla lady had the audacity to hand me cold food and didn’t even attempt to heat it up or offer anything else. I’m wondering if this complies with safe food handling protocols, considering the food was still in their possession, and they should definitely have some form to keep it warm in case it’s not able to be picked up right away. I’ll check with the city. I understand I too have responsibility in this scenario but the employees’ overall attitude and unpleasantness did not help the situation, rather led to this entire misunderstanding. I obviously did not eat my lukewarm pork gorditas (can you say salmonella?) and mostly wasted over $70 in food because I didn’t want to argue with people who clearly lacked customer service skills. Im highly remorseful of having chosen this place out of all the others. Ironic that I ended up going there because it was relatively empty compared to the other restaurants in the same food court. I guess I know why now…"

"Worst Experience ever at Plaza Fiesta, I’ve worked foodservice and I understand days can be stressful however the cashier had the WORST attitude I’ve ever encountered. When I first came up I spoke to her in Spanish asking how much the order of quesabirria tacos, she proceeded to tell me it comes with everything in the picture, I repeated my question and asked how much and she told me $10 I proceeded to order tacos and once I asked for a pupusa, she cut me off telling me they only had cheese pupusas and when I asked if I could get just one she cut me off again and told me I could only get the order of 3 or none, I felt very discouraged from her attitude so I then asked if she had Jamaica (Hibiscus Tea) and she rolled her eyes and pointed at the machine instead of answering my question , she told me my total and left me reaching out my hand with the $50 and turned around to start making the drink, once she returned I felt as though I wanted to take my business elsewhere, this was all BEFORE her submitting my order. When she came back I asked respectfully if she could please cancel my order and only charge me for the tea since she had already made it, still giving another opportunity, she proceeded to pick up the $50 bill from the counter and tell me her boss wasn’t there and she couldn’t give me a refund because my order was made? How could that have been possible if she had just made the tea and still had not submitted the order? I then told her that that was not possible because I just watched her place the order and she then laughed in my face and told me I wasn’t going to get my money back, another lady behind the counter became involved, I explained the situation and she made the lady give me my money back. Overall WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I feel bad for whoever hired her, she’s definitely making this business not perform to their fullest, wish I could say otherwise. Sad to see that people don’t have customer service skills anymore."

"It’s no wonder that this place has an average 1.7 star review. The customer service is as terrible as the food. I came here and placed an order for the burrito supremo, asked them if it came with everything in the picture and was told yes. When I got my order it looked nothing like what I had asked for. I asked for a refund and was denied."
