"First time here, last week. I see that there is no way to specifically rate personality of staff but I give 5 stars for this category: The owner was very personable and he listened to what I, as the customer was saying, plus, wasn't curt or rude. I came to try the beef patties and some type of soup but he told me he was out of these things. I was disappointed but due to owner's easygoing nature, I will not give minus stars for not having food choices I wanted. I felt that we had to wait a bit longer than necessary to order...when we first came in, owner said he'll brb and went in to back and didn't reappear for some time - however, I understand that he was the only one working and he probably had several orders to cook up plus, oversee the register, by himself. Ordered medium tray size curry chicken with cabbage, rice and peas and plantains. Flavors were all on point and he hooked up the tray, too. My school aged son is very picky and he said the chicken and rice and peas were very good - told me 5 stars for flavor. If he's happy, I'm definitely happy. I came in to the restaurant thinking $13 is kind of pricey for a medium tray but I left feeling like I got my money's worth. I would and hopefully will go back sometime. Still want to try the beef patties."
"Clean restaurant: Customer service was really good. Nice and friendly, but the peas and rice was not good. It may have been a case of overcooked or left overs. The beans were super dry as shown in picture: The red peppers over powered the cabbage. Plantain was decent. It wasn’t horrible, but I will not return:"
