"Very chill spot. Enough room, spacious. Esp during the weekday. Dishes were pretty good. Fast. Helpful. Very pleasant ladies at register. A bit confusing coming from outside because the DOOR or exact entrance didnt have the business name. I saw it onthe corner of the bldg only. So walked around a few times and decided to go in and ask. And vwala. Its a real cool spot tho. Fresh food."

"These photos don’t do this place Justice. My girl and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the food here since we ate there last week. On our way literally right now."

"Best food on the Westside! I’ve tried a lot of items on their menu but the mulitas and maduros con crema are my favorite go-to’s. My latest favorite is the chicken pozole. Perfect for the cooler weather."

"Dont walk, RUN to el Tesoro west end and get you some good eats!!! Usually I eat the carne asada tacos which are absolutely delicious and stuffed to the brim with tender, flavorful, juicy steak, but I decided to try the chicken Al carbon special and omg best thing I’ve put in my mouth in a minute. The most amazing entree I’ve had and it comes in such a large portion with sides for only $20! The skin on the outside had so much flavor you could really tell a lot of work was put into making it something so special that everyone could enjoy. So if you see it on the menu don’t hesitate to try it I’m still daydreaming about it as we speak."

"As someone who has been anxiously awaiting more decent food options on this side of town I was excited to hear about el Tesoro. I’ve been to their Kirkwood location a handful of times and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately it didn’t meet any of my expectations. - Are things only allowed to come to Lee and White? Is there no other retail space in the entire area? Please!! Someone branch out. - The service was super slow. I arrived to a small line (about 5 customers). It still took over 30 minutes to order. Then over 30 minutes to get that food. Over an hour total. Would hate to see it with a crowd. - They were sold out of most menu items. - I ordered the quesadilla (mulita) and a kids quesadilla for my daughter. The cheese wasn’t even melted. Even after all the time. It was disappointing- especially bc I’ve ordered before in Kirkwood and it’s always melty and gooey. - My husband ordered his burrito supreme style - we paid extra for it and none of the supreme extras came with it."
