Reviews
"It hasn't been open long. Food was tasty and could have been hotter as long as we waited. (Was only 1 cook & we were the only people there) which we understood. However, some items are overpriced. Ex: Lemonade was $5, can soda $4. The service was great."
"I came here for my birthday and so glad I did! We ordered steak and the short rib tacos. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent too! We will be back!"
"This is my first time visiting this place and what can I say, I’m impressed by the quality food they offer, world class food! But a great restaurant like this can’t go along with great service! We want to thank Rosmely for taking care of us and making our experience pleasant and enjoyable! Everything we had was delicious! I will for sure come back and recommend this place to family and friends!"
"if you look at the pictures... food looks awesome! let's start with the service... they were not busy tonight, but definitely waited... for menu (incomplete, had to get drink menu). someone came to fill out water glasses - not a word. waited for refills. waited for waitress to come and take order, with very little english. food came out in a reasonable amount of time. no one came to check how was the food or if we wanted anything else. waited for someone to give us the check. that was a lot of waiting and we were by no means in a hurry, nor starving. the food... we got a bread basket with 3 thinly sliced bread - i didnt take a picture coz i thought we would get a refill. we did not get any more bread. appetizer was chips and queso... chips were great! fresh. crispy. right thickness and seasoning imho. the cheese, however, was too thin and runny. i think you can see that in the picture. one plate was pulpo de parillas (i think)... and it came with potatoes. both were ok, as far as tastes. we also ordered t-bone and rib eye - sides are priced extra. brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. brussels sprouts were mostly not cooked. mashed potatoes did not come with any gravy. the steaks... their specialty, were cooked spot on (medium for us) in some parts of the steak. other parts were overdone. other parts were a bit too rare. for 3 people, the total for dinner was over $200. there was an additional $6 charge for something... i have no idea and dont care, at this point. when we left, the waitress ran after us in the parking lot to say goodbye. the verdict? i got better attention from mcdonald's than we did at this place. the food, while presentable, was nothing to write about... so, if you go here, prepare to open your wallet and i hope you have a better experience."
"I'm torn about this review. They just opened last month so I recognize they are still working out the kinks. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, the food was good, the staff was friendly, but it's the other little things, that just has not left a great impression for me. We were seated immediately and it wasn't crowded, but it took forEVER to be served. We had been there about 15 to 20 minutes before we even received water! Bottom line we were there an hour and a half before receiving our main course... like I said it wasn't busy. Then it was like they were out of everything. I wanted an Iced Tea...there was no iced tea. At 5 pm, you don't have iced tea? Okay, I'll take water. Hubby ordered a cowboy bone in rib eye. 5 minutes later the waiter returned stating they didn't have anymore 18 oz, but only 32oz. We ordered the house pasta without broccoli to share as a side. It was supposed to come with fettuccini noodles but we got spaghetti instead, no big deal. But it was no where near the serving size of the other orders of pasta we were seeing. Lastly it was like they were rationing the cloth napkins and water glasses. One of the waitresses accidentally knocked over my cloth napkin just before our entrees came out. I thought she would bring me a new one... did not happen. Okay so when our food was brought out I had to ask our waiter for another napkin and he brought me paper napkins... I asked for a refill on my water but then something was floating in it so the young lady took the glass and brought back water in a plastic cup... Soooo I guess they had no more clean water glasses yet was no where near closing time... But hey, they've only been open 1 month. I hope they work out the kinks. This restaurant has really good potential. What did we order, the Del Mar (words can't express how good this dip is), The chicken Romana salad, t-bonesteaks, and, the house pasta. The food was really good."
