"Buford Highway is known for some of the most authentic and best Asian cuisine. One such restaurant that I love is Mamak. Mamak is a Malaysian restaurant that serves delicious food such as noodles to fried rice to roti. They have a pretty extensive menu. The service there is good. The waiters are efficient and direct. They will answer any questions you have, but don't expect them to make chit-chat with you. I actually like that so I can get my food faster. The atmosphere is comfortable enough. It's causal and laid back. It's family friendly. It's has the type of atmosphere where you meet up with friends and family after work. It's not a spacious place, and there will be times when you will have to stand outside and wait until you can get a seat. The food is delicious. Here's my recommendations: 1. Roti canai. 2. Hainanese chicken. 3. Beef Chow Ho Fun. 4. Basil chicken. 5. Combo Flat Noodles. 6. Braised Beef Stew. 7. Eggplant Salted Fish and Chicken. Great food, good service and cozy atmosphere. Go check them out."
"First time I've had Malaysian food and it's been great to me. Service was great even on Christmas Day. Rendang Beef with the white rice they give is a match made in heaven. Bring a few friends and have a night out."
"The establishment is easy to locate. There is plenty of parking around the restaurant since there are many around. The place is small but welcoming. The service is good. The food was lovely, I recommend getting the Satay Skewers and the Curry Beef Brisket. Overall I would give it a 10/10 must try."
"A must try restaurant! The hainese chicken is very popular and did not disappoint. The mamak wontons are perfectly bite size, not too big or small and very crispy. Love that the shrimp in the wonton tasted fresh and not overly fishy. The roti is so soft and fluffy with a little crisp on the outside, it comes with a small sauce bowl of curry. I wish I came with my friends and family for family style sharing, the entire menu just sounds so good!!"
