Waffle House

"The cooks are too chill, joking and laughing while people are hungry waiting. They kept messing up orders. The servers don't smile, don't communicate with customer to let them know who's going to take their order nor they apologize for making them wait while the cooks and the servers are having a blast with their personal conversations. The manager was there but he seemed intimidated to say something, I think it's because he is white and the cooks are black and he doesn't want retaliation. The server in red with orange hair likes to discipline her costumers if they sit at the table a head of time by not serving them or moving them out of the table with an over the top diva attitude. Sad."

"This was my go to spot before I head to my school bus for the day. Always count on them being open and ready for service. I had a trip on Saturday and said I would stop by my go to spot for breakfast. I went in and waited for a table. Never was asked how many with me. The guy took his time cleaning the table. Often glancing at me while washing the dishes. I waited patiently. No one from the early morning weekdays was on duty. I normally stop by between 4:00am-6:00am through the week. No one was waiting after me. When he finally stopped doing the dishes and finished clearing table and cleaned the table he called for me to sit. Placed menus on table and walked off. A group came in and waited. He then comes over and tells me this booth I’m in is reserved for two or more customers on Saturdays. It shocked me because I waited about 10 minutes to get into the booth. Why wait until I’m seated to tell me?! When I walked in I should have been greeted and asked how many. At that time it should have been told to me. I would have sat at the tables upfront by register. The group told them to leave me there because they had just come in after he asked me to sit. It hurt and disappointed me because this was my favorite spot. I told them I would leave. The lady asked me to stay. What hurt is that they waited for me to be seated to tell me this! So it showed me that my money and me as an individual was not valued at this place. So now I won’t be doing business with them anymore!"

"Lisa is great! She always double checks my to go order and makes sure I have all the condiments I need. And she is super friendly. Mark is a great cook, too."

"I have tried Waffle House for the first time and I love it. Food was so good and their waffles are great! I tried chicken melt and peanut butter waffles here. Checked melt was well made and hash browns were perfect. Service was great at this location. Chef took special care and interest in serving these items. I would like to go this place again."
