"La Mei Zi was LA MA ZING. We went with no expectations other than our family told us to try this place and wow! All of the food came out so fast and the portions were so big! There were 8 of us and they just kept it coming! The 3 Cups Chicken is one of the best things I've ever eaten, and it still wasn't my favorite! My favorite combination was an order of Dan Dan noodles with the lamb and scallions! So good. 10/10 please go try this place!"
"Nestled in the back of Asian Square, La Mei Zi has an extensive menu of Taiwanese and Chinese cuisines. We've been here a couple of times over the last few years, but have been more so recently. The food has been consistent-- no frills, just good food. The taste is flavorful and isn't obviously oily. They have a lot of pick-up and delivery orders. Dining in is nice. It's a simple and relaxed ambiance. Staff is welcoming, and the food comes out in a timely manner."
"It can be a task to find good Chinese food in Metro Atlanta, but this restaurant is definitely one of the better ones. The food is fresh and you can taste the difference compared to other places. Service was a little lacking but overall, not bad. I would recommend this place and return to try other menu items."
"Food 4/5 This Taiwanese place did not disappoint. Service 3/5 Atmosphere 2/5 I gave 2 because the cushions they have for the customers felt very dirty so I removed it and sat on the wooden bench but I could smell the funk coming from the cushions. I'm pretty do they do not wash them. I pushed the cushions further away from me but I could still smell it. Not a good look for the restaurant."
"I really enjoyed our experience here-- the food was delicious and I think everything was reasonably priced for what we got. They brought out some fresh pickles as an appetizer complimentary (delicious!!) Their hot and sour soup was awesome, and we also tried: 3 cups chicken (we got two orders but could have just done one), Eggplant in garlic sauce with pork, String beans with pork, Hakka stir fry (very good!), and Lo mein with chicken. We also tried one of their hot teas! I think it was chrysanthemum tea, and they brought out rock sugar to go with it (which was awesome!) My mom doesn't care for Chinese food, so she wasn't wild about these dishes. I believe this restaurant is technically Taiwanese, but their food is still essentially Chinese vibes. The rest of us loved all of the dishes and we barely had leftovers!"
