"I am sincerely impressed with this establishment! The freaking ceviche is why I came, and it did NOT disappoint & the veggie tostada was fire too! The chef has a new fan in me! "Highly recommend the asada steak. The fried cheese dish isn't worth the money. Personally wouldn't get it again (but if you do order it, ask for tortilla chips with it). The potatoes were good. Would give service a lower rating due to our waitress not coming to wait our table for 15-20 minutes."
"My first time eating at Alma Cocina and it was ok! The best part were the appetizers… grilled octopus and the salsa and guacamole tray. We had chicken and the steak as well as the salad. The portions were a good size , however, the food wasn’t as flavorful as I would have expected!"
"Portions are small, especially the octopus. It has a good flavor but I hardly had any octopus bites! I was a bit surprised by the lack of Entrees, and also not 1 typical agua fresca that represents Mexican food, agua de horchata, Jamaica, or Tamarindo! Also, why don't you have it on your menu side dishes???? I know you have them because I had to ask for them!! The Bison's Short Ribs had no flavor the sauce wasn't bad at all but the ribs itself nothing. Plantains, cheese, and Caesar Salad were actually very good! I invited 2 close friends to dinner and I was a bit disappointed!!! I have to recognize, the manager at this shift, unfortunately, I didn't get her name but it happened on December 2nd at 8 pm! Just so management can recognize her! Also Josh was very helpful!"
"A delicious restaurant with friendly staff. Every item was delicious. The fried cheese was the best item here. Salsa/Guac sampler was good as well. With three 3 different salsas and 3 different guacamoles. Personal favorites being the fire roasted salsa and apple chamoy guacamole. Empandas were decent along with the chicken mole. Will definitely be coming back as the restaurant doesn’t miss."
