Kroger

"Today went to return couple of items with valid receipt(i don't have Kroger card or Kroger membership) but returns were not processed or accepted. Reason given by customer service personal at store (he also called manager to confirm) that items cannot be returned without kroger card as its store policy. Never came across this kind of policy at Grocery any store where valid receipt are not accepted for processing returns. I called Kroger customer service and send email to report the same feedback. As this policy seems unfair."

"This place is annoying. Good people working here but the isles are way too small, its always over crowded and essential items like bread or dogfood are often out of stock. Oh, and its dark. Like the lights are always dying or something."

"The Starbucks is chronically understaffed. I usually order on the app to reduce wait times, but i am still 15 minutes over the estimated order completion time, and still waiting. Please either staff appropriately or close it. Update. From time of order to when I got it. 40 min elapsed."

"CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES. I’ve shopped at this Kroger for years consistently & this year it has gone to absolute garbage. Several times this year I’ve purchased expired or rotting produce via Clicklist. I stopped Clicklist and started going to the store thinking this would be better. Wrong. I bought yogurt and didn’t check the expiration dates about a month ago and sure enough they were so very expired. I contacted corporate Kroger because this is ridiculous. I go to the store again 9/16 and they as in a hurry, didn’t check the expiration date like an idiot, froze it Saturday and go to cook dinner tonight 9/20 and the meat was a month expired!!! It was GREY. It’s little weiners which go great with sauerkraut, so NO I couldn’t tell in the packaging the color was off. Absolutely disgusting. You can’t charge these inflated prices for disgusting expired products!"

"Used to be a decent Kroger, but has been going downhill in recent months. Prices now sky high, but I know that isn't their fault for the most part, however the quality of the food has gotten pretty bad when it comes to meat and produce. I actually got food poisoning a few months ago from a bad batch of strawberries I bought here and when I went in earlier this week to get groceries I just had to take some photos of the fruit section. Almost every other case of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries had mold in it. When I went to look for Greek Yogurt I had to dig through 2 rows to find one that didn't have an expired date of July...in August. The Kroger frozen chicken bags were also all defective without the resealable zipper despite showing it as a feature of the bag. Used to be very reasonable and convenient to shop here, but I think I will start going up the road to the newer Kroger to see if they actually maintain a higher quality standard with their food. When you are having to spend so much now for groceries, you would hope you could shop somewhere where half the food isn't covered in mold or expired on the shelf."
