"My daughter has high regards after using your salon & convinced me to bring my dog in for her 1st grooming after being a rescue. I was blown away by the attentiveness of every detail by the staff & 100% customer service. From the young lady in training, management, & groomer, took more than ample time to sincerely listen & take time to get to "know" us. Wish I could give you 10 stars & wish you could open another location in South Georgia!! Many thanks to you & your staff!"

"We have been loyal clients for over a year - -and once Gabe sold the business it has gone downhill. 2 appointments ago - we arrived for our 8:00 am appt and were told it was moved to 9:00 - they just hadn't gotten around to texting us. We should have complained then - but we chalked it up to "life happens" and we let it slide a bit - -When we picked our dog up - her cut was sloppy at best. There was no manager on site - we were told Laurie (the "new' manager) was no longer there and they were looking for a new manager. Well yesterday - we went back -- and Tyler the "interim" manager is atrocious -- we told him about our disappointment with the time issue last time - "no response"- just shrugged his shoulders -- we were there for our "8:00 appt" - and we were told our groomer was not in yet - "she typically comes in between 8 and 8:30" -- really? then why do you schedule for 8:00?? Well - when we picked our baby up - her cut was horrific -they shaved her poor little face raw - had clumps of hair on her neck- she had mats in her ears - and a "shelf" on her head - we have called them twice to discuss and sent 2 emails - no response -- its a shame - Gabe ran a wonderful business - will NEVER be going back - and beware -- here are our beautiful baby's pictures right after her groom when we got home! ;-("

"I ❤️ this place. I waited to post a review until I had taken my two dogs more than once. 100% satisfied! Allison was our groomer and did exactly what I asked. "Lamb" ears and close around feet and backside. As well as other details. Both were ready within an hr amd a half. I can understand if they took longer as each dog has their own temperment. Price is fair and less than the bougie salons in Buckhead. I wish we had found this salon sooner. TY to the staff and owner."

"This was our first experience at Salty Dawg and they definitely have a new regular customer! The scheduling process was easy and the drop off went smoothly. Allison was very helpful in determining how best to trim our slightly long haired dachshund. Our dog looks so precious!"

"We were so loyal to Salty Dawg for 3 years. I found out that as of July 2023 it has been bought by a new owner which was sad as Gabriel the former owner is one of the nicest humans and truly cared and loved all pups. I decided to book as usual and see what changes have been made. Unfortunately as I feared the place is now run just like any other petsmart or big grooming business. My dog was the first one in for 8am, I called at 11am to see if she was ready and got no answer (nobody answers the phone anymore) . I decided to go in person and to see what’s going on and by 11:20 her haircut hasn’t even begun. It seems they are taking on more dogs than they can handle and dogs are held in the back waiting to be seen for far too long which makes the grooming experience more stressful than it needs to be. The store in the salon which I once loved as it had healthy specially picked brands which are actually good for your dog has also been changed to look like any other big pet store selling the same mass market stuff. The luxe feel I used to love this salon for has gone. We will not be back."
