The Hinson House Bed & Breakfast

"We stayed at The Hinson House at the beginning of February 2024. The home is beautifully decorated with antiques and took me back to a simpler time. They have complimentary refreshments available around the clock and when we arrived the wonderful fragrance of fresh baked cookies filled the air. Our room was well decorated with antiques and a wonderful comfortable bed that I melted into and rested well for the entire night. Each morning we were greeted by a beautifully set and decorated dining room with fresh fruit, followed by freshly prepared foods such as French toast, bacon, biscuits, and eggs. Our hosts, Olivia and Keith, were wonderful and a delight to converse with. They shared a vast amount of great information on the history of Marianna, Florida. There were about 10 people in our group and there were plenty of beautifully decorated, comfortable, places for us to sit and visit including the ample, yet cozy dining room, a large sitting area with lots of seating, and a porch with a swing and rocking chairs. We loved our stay and felt like welcomed guests. If we are back in the area would definitely stay again."

"You walk back in time as you come through the front door. Our 1st time staying at a bed & breakfast, Hinson House was comfortable, cozy & a home away from home. Keith was very nice & informative. Leah was amazing & her cooking was fabulous along with her personality. The decor was fabulous & rooms very clean. Will definitely be staying there again."

"We love this bed and breakfast. The rooms are always wonderful, clean and neat. The house has an old charm and “homey” feel. They always make you feel right at home and comfortable. Easy access, easy pay. While we usually leave before breakfast there are always snacks and hot coffee to grab. Definitely recommend this bed and breakfast."

"The Hinson House has new owners since the last time I visited in 2017 and WOW! The house was clean as a whistle and has everything you need for a fantastic stay. Our room (Sadies Suite) was wonderful, Leah's breakfasts are absolutely amazing (you won't need lunch)! Keith and Olivia (owners) were there to greet us when we arrived and take great care to make sure their guests are taken care of and comfortable!"

"I got nothing but love for these people. My wife and I were originally set to have a quiet anniversary weekend. They had the perfect room in a place close enough for the babysitter to issue a recall if needed. Unfortunately, our child care fell through and what was supposed to be a quite, romantic weekend turned into a family getaway. My wife and I were, of course, a bit upset at losing our anniversary getaway but Keith and Olivia jumped right in. They worked it with another guest to switch rooms and they even babysat our boys long enough for us to have a quiet anniversary dinner. I gotta be straight - doing that was not a requirement. Regardless of the circumstances, you can't ask someone to do more than what is contracted for without first determining what the cost would be. This never came up. Keith told me he understood the problem and he would provide a solution that he was capable of arranging. He did a fantastic job. We had a comfortable, two room suite that was absolutely perfect for my family. These are good people. Leah and her husband manage the day to day and the meals and they are good people. Can I say that? These are good people. I enjoyed every conversation and interaction with them and I have nothing but praise and appreciation for them. Book a room. Book it for several days and go exploring this area of Northwest Florida - there's some rather cool things you wouldn't have normally thought. Should it happen that my wife and I find ourselves in a place to reschedule our missed getaway weekend, yeah, the Hinson House is gonna be at the top of our choices. So I give the Hinson House FIVE STARS!!! I assure you, you will not walk away from your stay complaining about anything. There won't be anything to complain about because there won't be anything to complain about. There ain't many places that can be said about."
