Baymont by Wyndham

"Bruh. This room smells like weed, there's no overhead light, the fan and AC were off so the room was stuffy and gross feeling, hole in the wall, the floor is sticky, everything is very slapped together and overall tacky. I'd expect to pay maybe $30 a night for this, not $50+. Just pay the extra money and go to literally any other hotel on this street. Edit to add: Found a cockroach in the sink this morning. Absolutely disgusting."

"Worst night of my life! The room was filthy. There were some guy's medical bills in the drawer with weed residue. This was not a place to take young children. There were holes in the wall along with blood stains. The comforter had a stain on it. The tub was peeling and towels were dingy. The ironing board was stained like a crime scene. The room smelled like Kool cigarettes which amplified when the ac turned on. Don't be fooled by pictures one picture is not at that hotel and other pictures are staged with chairs thar are not there. I could have taken 61.00 bucks and lit in on fire. At this point, I have learned you get what you pay for. The negative reviews are true, the positive reviews are bots. The owner seemed nice but that can't make up for the filth. The TV didn't work. It was missing the back cords. I didn't want to switch rooms after reading they had a roach problem from previous reviews. I was thankful our rooms didn't have that. I did not rest, I was up every hour checking to make sure there were no roaches ( we slept with lights on) and to make sure our car wasn't stolen. There was a screaming fight in another hotel you could hear from the parking lot. The woman at the front desk never even asked how was my stay was when I left. She was rude and I know my limits."

"Great location. Bathroom in our room (217) needs to be updated. Tub and toilet very old. There was a breakfast but not much if you can't eat wheat products. No yogurt or boiled eggs. Staff very helpful and friendly."

"If I could leave no stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service of Baymont in Marianna itself and Wyndham hotel chain included. Drove for my husband's grandfather funeral on Now. 4. Checked into hotel after 12 am at night very tired after 30 hour drive. Took things into room like always when you just want to have peace and rest. After going to sit on bed realized there where hairs left on sheets, same thing was on 2nd bed but worse. Like they never changed sheets after someone and just tidy it up to look good. That's not all of it tho. Went to wash hands after hair discovery to realize half of towels have yellow stains on them. And couple of cockroaches ran out to greet me as well!!!!!! So long story short we packed up and went to front desk to say we not staying and want a refund. Lady called owner on phone he rudely said check them out. She tried that and said it be better to just cancel check in and assured us that she did and we won't be charged at all. Now 3 weeks later I'm still fitting them on refund and they saying that now they might refund one night but not the other one because we didn't let them make it right. My question! Make it right how? Order cockroach exterminator for my room and me wait 24 hours for poison to work????? This is unbelievable. Also just so you all know I communicated as much as I could. But nobody answered my email even once. When you call their managers just either not there or rude and making excuses. Wyndham chain costumer support was better but said they have no power over their hotel chain because they privately owned. So at this point I'll say avoid the whole chain at all cost!!!"

"Booking was easy but the hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. One example would be the lobby. In the breakfast area there are folding metal chairs not the nice ones in the pictures. In the room one of the light fixtures was missing a shade. The light switch by the door didn't turn anything on. The linens were old and worn. We didn't sit in the recliner, it looked like whoever cleaned the room missed the wrinkled chair cover. The sheets were wrinkled as well. On the positive side, the room did smell disinfected. Basically, choose another hotel."
