"I saw several Goodwill price tags on several different items. The item I bought had a much lower price tag from Goodwill than what this Platos had it priced at. When I asked about it, I was told that they would be happy to put it back for me. They were so rude. I won't be going back to this location."
"When I walked in there was no greeting whatsoever, the store didn't feel welcoming. The racks are so full you can't even look through the clothing, once you finally get a shirt off the rack it's way too difficult to put it on because the racks are so full."
"Horrible staff and horrible inventory. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SELLING. Their prices are unfair and they do not hold the value to their items as they should. You are better off selling clothes online then selling here!"
"I have never had any issues with this location. For the most part, the employees are pretty friendly, however I feel like there is always new people every time I go in. It’s always a hit or miss when trading in clothes. I brought in about 55 items today and they took 28. You have to make sure there are size and brand tags still on every item and also make sure that it is a name branded item. I recommend washing your items before getting rid of them ESPECIALLY if you have cats or dogs because any dog or cat hair will stop them from buying it (hopefully most people know this), but it definitely makes all the difference. Overall I have had good experiences at Plato’s, and although I usually don’t shop there, they have a huge variety of items from shirts to pants to phone cases and wallets. It’s a good place to go when needing a last minute outfit or item!"
"I called before I made my drive out here to ask what time they were going to stop accepting clothes to buy. I was told that they were stopping at 6:30 today since they were short staffed. I walk in at 6:00 and i’m told that they can’t take my clothes anymore. I told the guy that a lady on the phone told me 6:30 and he just said that there’s nothing they can do today and to come back tomorrow. They need to stand by their word or just tell me from the beginning on the phone that they couldn’t take my clothes today due to being understaffed. Would’ve saved me time and gas"
