"Bought two pairs of boots, wore one for two days to work(I work as a mechanic in a shop) and the front of the boot separated. We couldn’t find the receipt but the website says you didn’t need it. Tried to exchange but was told they can’t do it without receipt and that they didn’t believe that I had just bought them since the bottom was dark(because the shop floor gets oily and dirty, boots get dirty very quickly) and that the manager wouldn’t be in until 3 days later and during my work hours so there’s nothing I can do with these torn up boots that broke on day one. They couldn’t or wouldn’t look up my purchases on my debit card or anything. The guy at the counter was very unprofessional and didn’t want to help at all prettymuch acted like I was lying trying to pull one over on them. I just wanted to exchange for the same non torn up boot. He didn’t want to see where I had a charge from them less than a week prior. The lady that checked me out was up there but I guess didn’t remember me or didn’t want to step in as her and the third employee behind the counter were having a conversation with each other and not getting involved. Don’t listen to their website and go without your receipt. And they only exchange unworn. Not wear for two days and it come completely apart. Nope, you’re stuck with your split open new boots. Also why is there no manager on the weekends? And only until 4 pm other days. So I can only talk to a manager if I take off work? I’m disappointed with the whole situation here."

"Highly disappointed with the lack of customer service. The assistant manager needs to learn people skills. I had planned on making a large purchase for my kids but after his attitude I decided to take my business to DSW I have been in management for over 20 years and if he worked for me I would have fired him."
