Waffle House

"This is the first Waffle House I’ve been to where nobody said hello to my son and I when we walked in. We only came to the Waffle House after the Monster truck show down here Perry, Ga. To have dinner together and the employees there could care less anybody was there. After waiting 10 minutes with no service we walked out. Never experienced that at a Waffle House in my life time."

"Came into this location with a friend after the closing of the national fair. Our food was made perfectly. Couldn’t ask for a better service."

"I got to the restaurant and ordered two eggs over medium cooked in butter with the yellows runny and one order of bacon. The waitress was very professional and immediately called my order in. There is no food on the grill. 5 minutes later, the manager walked away from the grill into the office area for a couple of minutes, which came back and started on my order. For whatever reason, she cooks the eggs on the grill instead of the pan. The waitress brings me my eggs. One is right. The other one, the yellow, is hard, and anyone should have been able to tell that it was wrong, especially the manager, but she served it anyway.. At that time I heard the manager say is that sausage with that order, the waitress told her no it was bacon, now the manager proceeds to put bacon on the grill and the waitress tells me I'm sorry you're not going to get to eat your eggs with your bacon. Which I had to explain to her. I did not want it. She had the manager remake my order. This time, everything came out correct and together. The waitress offered to comp my bacon, which I respectfully thanked her, but told her no I ordered it, I eat it ,I pay. The manager in no way took responsibility or apologized. There were a few customers in the restaurant. The food and the service would probably have been rated as one star, but I gave the waitress credit for her service, and the food finally turned out well. By the way,i tipped the waitress $20 on a $10 ticket because she did her job and should not be punished because the manager doesn't do hers. These people service us night and day,with very little thanks."

"Visited with my brother and sister in law. The steak was juicy and tender. The waffle was yummy and cooked to perfection. It was a very enjoyable visit. We were trying to find a place to eat on a busy Sunday morning and were able to get in and have a nice meal. It was a wonderful time. Will visit gain whem in the area."
