CITY NAILS 2

"I got an SNS manicure and gel pedicure on a Friday morning around 10. It was very busy, and they did my pedicure and dip nails at the same time in the pedicure chair, which I understand…they’re saving me time, and trying to free up a chair for other customers. Usually this isn’t a problem, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of lower…this is my go-to nail salon and usually I love it here. They take the time with my nails and everything is calm and comfortable. However, it all depends on which technician you get. This last time, my pedicure was great, but my SNS was not. I chose black, which I know is staining, but she (I didn’t know her name) did not take the time to clean up around my nails so I could see the full effect of the manicure. She was fast and not careful, so each of my nail beds have black powder that is cemented in, as she did the clear coat over top of them so I can’t even fix it myself. It does not look professional, it’s really bothering me, but I do not have the time to go back in and get it fixed. She also did not ask if I wanted them rounded or squared so it’s a weird in-between shape that I do not like. I will have to live with it until the next time I go in which is extremely disappointing. I had a friend ask where I got them done so she knew where NOT to go, which is not the kind of rep you want for your business. $103.50 not including tip for a subpar job. I might try another establishment next time to see if I can find better. Sorry, City Nails 2."

"I visited twice... I was really disappointed. I had a lift in less than a week... and it was the worst. I visited again today, but when I came out... it was a mess. What Red did today...what French did 10 days ago.The red color I did today is like applying cuticle remover and red full color. I did it today. It wasn't a week ago. I can't say it's full color."

"I paid 103.00 for someone to screw up my daughter's nails. When I went back to inform them that my daughter's nails where crooked and to get it corrected. The lady told me that they looked fine and that My seven year old approved them. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. WORSE PEOPLE EVER!!"

"In town visiting friends and needed a fill in on a rather old set of nails. They were able to squeeze me in on short notice, were super quick, (like I was in there for 40 min, tops) and clean. Did a beautiful job and were very thoughtful about acrylics that were done by another salon. Did I mention clean? Will be getting a pedicure next time I'm in town!"

"Beautiful place. Walked in shortly after the nail salon opened and had no wait (keep in mind it was a Thursday morning, so that might not happen on any given day). Donna did my nails and she did an amazing job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she NAILED it. She also had a great personality which is always a plus. I also got a deluxe pedicure by Tom and my feet look and feel good. I’d definitely would go back for them alone, but overall my service was great!"
