"Arrived for my appointment, which I’d received a reminder call about the day before and was scheduled a month prior as I normally do, to be told by the receptionist that I didn’t have an appointment. I told her I absolutely did and played her voicemail back for her on my cell (her own voice). She then offered to reschedule me to the following week. I told her my appointment was for 3:15 and I wasn’t leaving. She said Emmanuella was available, after running down the hall and speaking to someone. I then waited 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. She then stated their system had been randomly deleting/cancelling appointments. Then went on to tell me that their system, which doesn’t make system-generated phone calls, sometimes cancels appointments if not confirmed. When I asked her who cancelled my appointment she stated she couldn’t see that. I explained AI doesn’t work like that unless the system generates their reminder calls, which it doesn’t (they call from their land line). NO APOLOGIES were offered by the receptionist for their screw up or for my extra long wait time and the inconvenience they caused me and my husband, who had driven me to my appointment. Worse yet, the lady who had the appointment with Flavia after my originally scheduled time walked in and announced, “My appointment was supposed to be for 4:15, but I guess there was a mixup with another appointment and they told me to come and hour early! Here I am!” Well, lucky you…. And I just looked at the receptionist who was still trying to make herself look busy to avoid having any real conversation with me. The only one who apologized to me was Flavia, multiple times each time she saw me. Emmanuela was very polite and kind and did a good job waxing me. However, the corners of my eyebrows are now uneven and she left small thick hairs on my chin/under chin (didn’t tweeze then as Flavia usually does when the wax doesn’t get them). I have been a client here since they first opened and I’m not happy with this last visit. I’m sure they wouldn’t have been happy either had it happened to them. I mean, if you know your system randomly cancels appointments - giving the benefit of the doubt since system issues can happen - but if “several people” have had that happen, as the receptionist stated,, then why wouldn’t they look at getting a new software system or at least fixing the existing one? I gave 3 stars because they did manage to get me in, but the entire experience was extremely frustrating and unnecessary."

"Emanuella did a fantastic job! The least painful Brazilian experience I’ve ever had. She was very sweet, professional & efficient. I think it took maybe 15 mins. The front desk lady was also very friendly & professional."

"As a first waxing experience it was horrible. After going to a better location (in the same shopping center) I now know that while waxing is not comfortable there is no reason for it to be that painful and take as long is it did. The waxer did not communicate well with me and it was a very awkward experience that ended up not even having me completely waxed and I ended up with multiple missed locations even though she went back over certain areas with twizzers."

"After getting two reminder calls I less than 24 hours to confirm my appointment, I arrived today to be told the person was running behind and there was still another person to do ahead of me creating a wait of 20-30 minutes. I ended up cancelling as I did not have time to wait. Why didn’t someone call to tell me THIS? This has never happened here before. Don’t know what has changed, but it is not good."

"I went in excited because of the reviews but I was really unhappy with my experience. The lady working with me (I think her name was Diva) was really very nice (which is the only reason for the second star) but the technique was just awful. It took literal HOURS longer than it has anywhere else for me. There was a lot of skin tugging because she didn’t ask me to move or turn so she was getting weird angles- it was all very uncomfortable and exceptionally more painful than usual. By the end of hour three I was hungry and tired and decided to leave without finishing what I had scheduled. At the pace she was going, it would have easily taken another hour. I still came home with patches left unfinished and I’m sore from being on the table for so long."
