"African American sisters- Be aware- Went in to get color touch up $100. Six days later I noticed the color was gone in spots. Called the salon owner, she asked me to come in, I did. She reviewed it and said new growth, WRONG answer. She also told me I would have to pay for a shampoo to get the color redone. WRONG answer again, bad business. Color should last longer than 6 days. They also get upset when you tell them the blow dryer is too hot, can’t use rat tail combs on African American hair. Our hair is too thick for the rat tail. We work hard for our money & we want healthy hair. Don’t take us for granted."

"I would absolutely never recommend any black woman goes to this salon. For starters, they do not know how to do black hair or care to learn. My hair is down my back right at my hips, they constantly tried to comb my hair with a skinny rat tail comb so expect some breakage and pain. Secondly, do not think that you can skip going under the dryer for an hour and a half.. they will be highly uncomfortable and offended due to them obviously not knowing how to handle black hair and being lazy. So you sit under the dryer for an hour and some change then guess what? They take another 40 minutes to blow dry your hair on the hottest setting then guess what next? You guessed it, they flat iron your hair and do at least 6/7 passes on one piece of hair. It is absolutely way too much heat on the hair, when you speak up about it they swear it’s healthy and makes the process “faster” … it’s laziness. Whole process takes 4/5 hours to leave even if you have an appointment. I personally will never be returning, find somewhere else it’s not worth it."

"Go see Gina and be spoiled with Yocosta giving you the best shampoo you’ve had. Gina gave me a blow out, trim, and style. My style lasted 2 1/2 weeks! They are a walk in shop and the other 2 stylist are good as well. You’ll not be dissatisfied!! I also received color treatment and on my first visit and left with a bomb color!!!"

"I love this place and am so glad I found them! I bring my daughter here and her blowouts last very long and when we wash her hair, her curls are still there. She wants to wear her hair straight and this place is training it very well. We do wash and condition her hair first only because it saves time and I prefer to use my own products. Would definitely recommend."

"First & last time visiting this location. I recently moved to the area and decided to give this place a try, since my normal Dominican shop is 20min away on Powers Ferry. The lady mentioned I needed a trim. I gave her a full disclaimer about how particular I am about my hair, and I usually don't allow others to trim it. She assured me that she would only cut a little, but "a little" to her, turned out to be 3-4 inches. She then tried to act as though she didn't cut that much and that I was lying about how long my hair was before she cut it. Also, I was burned with the blow dryer twice. And there was a child (related or friend of one of the stylists) who was loud and running wild in the shop for about 30 minutes."
