"I was in the area for a work event and took my coworkers here for a dinner. We were supposed to be 12 but grew to about 18 and they accommodated us and gave us a great experience. The manager and server were outstanding and made us feel so welcome. We only had one server for the group and you would have thought we had an entire staff. We didn't wait for anything and she didn't miss a beat. Chanel, thank you for taking such great care of us. Everyone had a great time and many had never eaten at J's. You are great and we will definitely be back when in Atlanta for work."

"J.Alexander’s Restaurant is a great place for food and drinks and meeting people . The Ambience is very much like a sports Bar. The service is very professional and the hosts are always very polite. The food is very good and flavourful. The quantity is very large and can be easily enjoyed by two people. They have a very special Fries which is very thin and crispy and goes very well with different types of dips. They serve a very good variety of protein. The fish is always fresh and the beef is always juicy and tender. The Salad is also very very good. They have a very long Bar with high chairs . The kitchen is see through a glass partition. Everything is well maintained and very clean. Was a very pleasant evening for me. Happy Eating"

"Great restaurant to meet friends and enjoy a delicious meal. We shared the grilled artichokes, sooo good. I had the Ahi tuna salad and when I wanted to modify our waiter had no issues making it just the way I wanted it. Husband got the red snapper and said it was very tasty. Our waiter was super attentive and we will definitely be back"

"Excellent ambiance...bar area was clean...foyer/entrance way was so big for the furnishings it had; add some lounge chairs ir sofas & end tables. Use massive space better. I did take out of their veggie burger; taste was good but but pattie was flimsy & falling apart & fries size were such a disappointment; same thickness as a pencil but healthy portion of them. Service was nice! Manager serving me was super friendly & courteous"

"Great dinning experience for a date night. It’s a pleasant atmosphere that is more on the semi-formal side of dining. The prime rib has a great seasoning to it, the salad was colorful and tasty, the old-fashion was delicious. The only uninspiring item was the bread with butter… it was fine, but seemed out of place when compared to the other items. My dinner date, unfortunately was not able to get the roasted chicken as she had ordered because they ran out. Her 2nd choice of tenders was good, but we will have to comeback for the oven chicken. The Mac and cheese was a great side choice also. Would recommend this place and we will be back."
