"My boyfriend his dad and I stopped by to eat lunch today for his dads birthday. Not only was the food and service wonderful but after we were served our food, the pit master came over to say hello and see how our food was. When he found out our visit was to celebrate a birthday he said the meal was on him. It was so nice and totally unexpected. It was a great experience."

"I wanted to see what the hype was about. Maybe I chose a bad day though. They get 2 stars for timeliness, the reasonable price, and quantity of food. I got the 3 meat 2 side platter/meal. Let’s start off by saying the garlic bread was the most flavorful and edible thing on my plate; the ribs were a 2/5 they were mostly burnt didn’t have much meat on them but the bbq sauce gave them flavor, the chicken 0/5 undercooked, no flavor at all— couldn’t finish it, the sliced pork 0/5 dry, unseasoned, no flavor not even salt- couldn’t finish it (at least my dog has something fun to eat tonight). Mac and cheese 2/5 your basic cheese and noodles, no flavor, the baked beans 0/5 I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites, the second bite was to make sure it was really as disgusting as I thought. This is the harshest review I’ve ever made, but I have to be completely honest. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else. Somewhere that at least salts their food at minimum. It taste like everything was taken out of a frozen bag and slapped in an oven. But it’s a chain restaurant, can’t expect much."

"My waitress name was Ketsy I think she said she just started or said she was new but I couldn’t tell at all. She was so nice, and patient. She gave a lot of recommendations with options I didn’t even know was on the menu, since I’ve been a loyal customer here. She recommended the large big deal sandwich to my dad and once she said the drink is included that stole him. She also offered the family feast option cause there was a party of 5 of us and it feed the whole table and was able to bring a little extra home, she also got me to bring home a take home Sonny’s sampler, with her recommendation preferable 4 meat choices. The food here is very affordable, I felt so welcome when I walked in and out, the chicken was a little dry thou but besides that the service and atmosphere was extraordinary. Thank y’all 4/5 stars"

"Discovered this place drive through the area. The food was absolutely delicious! Our server, Ernestine, was friendly as well. It's been 2 months since I stopped eating meat, but I had to try the smoked turkey; and it was SO worth it! They have four flavors of bar-b-que sauce to choose from on each table. I like the sweet or original flavor. Only thing missing were vegan options."
