"The food was good but nobody spoke English so I had to point to what I wanted and I couldn't ask questions. So I ended up getting a take away plate. I recommend the beef stew with rice. It was really good. I wanted to try more things but didn't want to end up with a $50 plate because of the language barrier."
"I love this place and the food! Im from new york so if you missing bodega food come here!! Maria is so sweet! She’s the one who helped me and made me such a generous plate of food. I speak english and only understand a little bit of spanish and it’s never difficult for me to order. Everyone there is very understanding and patient with my limited spanish. We make it work. I highly recommend this place."
"Went in here with high hopes of some really good food but unfortunately it wasn’t the case. The food was cold, honestly seemed like it had been sitting out for a bit. The beans didn’t taste good and the rice was ok."
"Very nice! I loved the food, atmosphere, and the hospitality. The lady is who served me was very nice and sweet. I had the stewed chicken with rice and beans. The chicken was so tender it fell off the bone, and there was a hint of lime somewhere, it did it for me. I really enjoyed the meal, along with the mango aguas frescas, drink. It was also very clean, with a suitable decor. I would recommend many times over."
"Value here is outstanding. My plate was so heavy and I was stuffed with half a plate left. Everything tasted homemade and I’m mad at myself for passing by here and never seeing this place. They need more signage to bring people in or a person spinning a sign. This location does them a disservice for the quality and quantity of food. Everything A1."
