Freshest Salad Bar

"This is my 12th visit to this establishment. As you see I have enjoyed the food immensely. Today I got my normal full salad-no protein. Mind you, I get a lot of toppings because I do not eat meat. I have bought 4-6 salads at a time: on several occasions, for my family members to try and to help this black owned business entrepreneur stay successful. The server seemed bothered that I go a lot of toppings and proceeded to charge me for extra toppings. If I'm not mistaken, a charge for an extra topping is when you ask for more of the regular serving, or it's an item that is clearly marked "extra charge". It is not about the money, It's about the agitated server and the fact that she felt that she should charge me more. There is not a limit of toppings that you can add to your salad. I called three times to speak about it, no answer. I will pay them a visit for an explanation. Hopefully I will have an update soon. UPDATE: Visited the establishment again. I ordered 2 salads with the same ingredients that I have always gotten on every salad since June. This particular server did not add extra charges to my salad. I wonder why the other server charged me more. Hmmm.. Future Management chat 2/19/24 Update: I tried them again!! Thank you for your reply. As it relates to the review and your reply, I visited your establishment 12/29/23. I read the posted sign about your price increase for the new year and the increase didn't pose a problem. It was the decision to charge me more because she felt like it. I also visited on 1/3/24 and 2/19/24 and was not charged anything extra."

"This place means well and the food and service is delicious! The only thing that may prevent me from ordering again, at least if I’m in a rush or have something to do, is how long it took to prepare my food. I placed an online order and was given an estimated 30-35 minute window of time when the order would be ready. I arrived to the restaurant 40 minutes after I placed my order and was informed they had not started preparing my order. It then took 20 minutes to prepare my order. I understand they are short staffed right now and this was certainly the reason for the delay. While I liked the food, I probably won’t be back until they have a full team."

"I love this place. They are a bit pricey if you add protein on, but I don't care. I pay it, and I also get a $5 discount after a few visits. All my salads are always fresh and they taste good. Very consistent and I will keep coming back!"

"The food is really good and fresh but they are really stingy with the toppings. You only get two very small scoops of toppings. Idk atleast add a third scoop or something, the food is expensive enough."
