Sonic Drive-In

"The decor or setup is decent. But my service and experiences have been so terrible that the pretty blue and faux grass does nothing for me. Today is my third attempt and they officially struck out. We came when they first opened and the wait time was crazy so we associated it with a grand opening week. Thought they would work out the kinks. The second time we came we received a nasty attitude when asking about menu items. We didn’t think we were being difficult asking if the bacon cheese toaster came with bbq sauce and to remove the fried onion ring, and add the regular chopped onions. You’re not yourself when you’re hungry so to be fair… Moving on. This morning we came for breakfast. My receipt says 10:31 am. We waited a half hour to get our order but the final straw was “all our breakfast combos come in large”. I ordered the first combo, French toast sticks w/ ice coffee and it was a breeze. Asked about the difference between breakfast burritos and made a decision. The order comes on the screen and I notice it’s more than the menu price and it says large. I never said I wanted a large. The menu says that the standard is medium. I call back and say I don’t want large, give me a medium combo. I’m not saying it’s because I’m black but… see the photo of the drinks that both come from breakfast combos."

"Hey sonic , there is no point in keeping this pick up station for delivery driver to pick up their order when it doesn’t work and the people inside doesn’t care much about to go pick up orders . If you can’t make this fast food orders on time and can’t give orders to drivers on time . Then don’t give a promised pick up time and don’t waste drivers time . If you want to make food to customers who come and order them only take their orders . Don’t take third party orders and waste their time because their time is money. You are make hell lot of bucks by sucking people’s time . Shame on you and your employees."

"I've dropped by 3 times in the past 2 months in the evening within an hour or less of close and the service was fantastic. The time I spent waiting after placing my order, to receiving my order has been exceptional, as fast as 5 minutes, to the longest wait of 7 minutes! That knocks the socks off other fast food locations in this area. The first time I visited the fry box was a little... lacking, but the two times since then, the fries have been full. Staff is polite, if not friendly. I got a compliment on my coat, which was unexpected. Whenever I'm in a rush while running errands and haven't got the time to cook at home, this is where I'll be going! The chili cheese foot long Cony dog is fantastic! Fries could be a little less salty but I rarely eat fast food so it may be just the right amount for people who eat nothing but fast food."

"Worst sonic experience ever. I placed the mobile app order and I checked into the stall when I arrived I waited 15 minutes and my food had not been delivered yet, so I push the button to alert the staff to see what was going on with my order only to be told that I had to come to the patio to pick up my order, I drove up to the drive-through and inquired why would I have to come anywhere when I placed my order on the mobile app in addition to checking in my order was not ready the milkshake still had to be prepared. I also placed the second order for a large blackberry lemonade, and I was given a small, strawberry lemonade. I advised the lady that the lemonade was supposed to be a large, and she just looked at me , the music was blasting so loud at the drive-through window and there was over five staff members and side so there should’ve been no reason why someone who placed a mobile app order and checked in had to go to the drive-through our patio to retrieve the order in addition to my milkshake, it was nowhere near filled and my coney bread was broken and soggy The professionalism was lacking and the service was lacking as well. A frequent member of sonic and this location does not meet Sonic standards very disappointing visit"

"My son and I came in for a quick bite while my wife went to a movie with my daughter. I ordered a hotdog and a large lemon berry slushy. My son who is eight ordered a kids, corndog and a small blue raspberry slushy. We received an extra large blue raspberry slushy with kids written on it And mine was a cherry limeade and was a small. When I tried to return it, they gave me some attitude, but said they would make me a new one. And it too was wrong. It had ice cubes in it instead of being a slushy and it was yellow and color, not the standard, pink and strawberry. My hotdog looked terrible and the tater tots looked like they had been under the heat lamp for a couple of days. Photo attached. Plus they were half empty. So I got out of my vehicle and walked up to the for a replacement slushy and the woman at the window gave me a hard time and was very rude to me. A nice gentleman, manager I believe walked over and asked if he could help. He listen to what I had to say, and made another drink that was beyond satisfactory. He did a great job handling the situation from my side but the employees otherwise were terrible. I will never return to this location ever even if I’m starving and it’s the last thing open. Better quality servers would be great and ones that don’t judge people. I felt very much like they were giving me a hard time because of the color of my skin."
