"Little dog park with fountain. In pretty old area of town. Not crowded. Walking trail. Gazebo. Friendly people"

"Nice park for doggies to play. The grass needs to grow more. It's getting sandy and not all dog owners pick up their dog's poop. There's no excuse bags and bins are provided. Remember dog parks are like child daycare in some way I've learned. Not all dog's get vaccinations and they visit the park too. Leaving those susceptible to catching a cough or cold too that do get vaccinations. I limit my visits because of that."

"What a treasure for our community! My dog loves to go and play at this park. Such a thoughtful donation by the Stern Family. The park has walking paths, leash-free, fenced-in dog park, pavilion for picnicking, ‘little free library’, and caboose from the old train depot relocated and displayed prominently in front. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax with your dog."

"It's a great little park. But again it would be much more useful for moms if the walking path were paved. Babies would be shaken half to death on the paths there. I know. I ended up walking through the grass just so my daughter didn't have to be jostled so badly. Otherwise it's great. The dog park is pretty and well maintained. The grass is basically perfect. It's an awesome historical site. Just not too useful for moms with strollers."

"Excellent dog park. Plenty of room for your pooches to run and play catch. Trash bag and trashcan for poop inside the park. Three gated entrances, two double gates areas to let dog in and then take off leash before they run around. Dog water fountain is nice. The walking path is about 1/10th a mile and has a book exchange. Good view of train tracks."
