"You can't go wrong eating at JDs. They have an amazing taste to their barbecue and great deals on Wednesdays for the wing. I've never been disappointed eating here. Also, it is a family environment, so you can bring the kids. Don't think about it, JUST GO!!!!!!"

"We had lunch there this past Friday. I had the North Carolina pulled pork sandwich, complete with cole slaw on top. It was pretty close to the down east style, although it needed some hush puppies on the side. The building was an old school house and it has giant windows with plenty of shade outside. Parking was adequate with a ramp in the back for strollers and wheelchairs. We will be returning soon for the Friday night prime rib special. I think they have pan roasted brussel sprouts also. Try this place out if you are in the vicinity of downtown Acworth."

"Amazing BBQ! Just coming through the area and saw it. A must stop and eat. The ribs are amazing. Brunswick stew has a little bite but lots of great ingredients. Fried pickles are excellent. Nice thick slices none of that thin junk. Will be back again!"

"Negatives: 1.) Too much sauce on the meats (Good BBQ shouldn't require it. Let me add more if I want it). 2.) Reprint menus with your current pricing, or put a sticker on the menu stating an increase. I shouldn't have to get my check and then find out the real price. Positives: 1.) All of the food and drinks were great. 2.) Waitress (Danielle?) was fantastic. Overall: A little pricey, but will definitely be back again."

"Loved it! We ordered the two meat combo platters, the brisket and rib platter, the fried chicken sandwich and the pork sandwich. Everything was just done right and perfectly juicy. Don't miss the creamiest banana pudding and the hot fudge brownie sundae. It was great too. They have indoor and outdoor seating now. Great ambience. Definitely recommend."
