Branchwater Steak and Seafood

"Went here solely based on reviews, quickly got seated and waitress brought water and got drink orders, waited 15 minutes until we saw her come back with drinks. Table next to us got sat after us and their waitress had drinks and appetizers on the table before we could place our order. Took another 30 minutes before our appetizer showed up. The entire time we watched the tables on either side of us get frequent refills, and prompt food and both tables were sat after we were. Food was pretty good, but by the time it actually came out our appetite was dissipating because of how long we were waiting. Also noticed that every new cup was placed too down on the tables, and the tables were wiped with rags that were used one after the other, so the tops of our cups were certainly not clean, nor were anyone else’s. My expectations go up in a restaurant based on their prices, for spending over $100 for 2 people I certainly was expecting more attentiveness from our waitress, it put a damper on the whole experience and I’m not returning here."

"Went New Years eve, sat at the bar and had wonderful service plus the food was so good. Cajun Chicken eggrolls to start, strawberry romaine for salad (so good) and they had a special for the holiday which was crab cakes...excellently prepared. Give this place a go if you haven't. Top notch in the heart of downtown Canton."

"We ate here last night as a party of 8, we had Elijah for our server. First of all beyond all else, Elijah was amazing! From start to finish, I can't say enough about him! The food was out of this world! Everything we had was just delicious! We recently relocated to Canton from S. FLA, and this may have just become our new favorite date night spot! Our 9 year old daughter even loved it! 10/10 recommend! Thanks so much Elijah for the wonderful night!"

"First visit to Branchwater in Canton. Food was great and service by Ally was also. She was very attentive and made great recommendations for everyone in the party. We went on a Saturday night and everything came out in a timely manner. Chose several options from the menu. Hanger steak with teriyaki broccoli and mashed yukon gold potatoes, fried shrimp with slaw, blackened grouper with grits and slaw, and a pimento cheese burger. All cooked to perfection. Followed by blackberry cheesecake, oreo creme brule, chocolate lava cake. 12/9 - Second visit and brought my work team for Christmas dinner. Excellent service and food again. Hanger steaks with mashed sweet potatoes, short ribs with mac and cheese and greens, grouper sandwich and fries, pan seared chicken... Everyone complimented on dinner choice. Definitely a go to place."

"Went for dinner. It was half price wine night which was awesome! Had the Brussels sprouts which were delicious and huge!!! The potato soup was very good too! We ordered the hanger steak. It was good but a little chewy. Overall really enjoyed our meal and will return!!!"
