"I moved up from texas and when I found this place on Google search I was hoping for bbq. I looked at the menu that's far from bbq. I think of brisket, ribs, beans, all the fixings. This place is more like a knock off dairy queen. I was leary of this place when I pulled up. I didn't smell the smoke from wood or anything. I was highly disappointed"

"I've been eating here since I was a kid, and I don't know how they do it, but you won't typically find a piece of fat in their meat. It's always freshly chopped and tasty. The building itself isn't much to look at, but the food and kindness inside makes it a great place to enjoy some good barbecue and stew."
