"Hubby and I have been meaning to try this place for a while now and I'm so glad we went. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff delivers stellar service. The food and drinks were awesome! The chef was actually the co-owner and you can tell he takes pride in his food."

"What a wonderful genuine family owned Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Canton Ga. We were greeted by the owner who seated us. She was oh so pleasant! Our waitress' name was JJ. She had the greatest customer service. She was so helpful in explaining the menu and giving suggestions. Our food was so delicious and dessert was amazing. Chrismas music was playing and the atmosphere was cozy and you felt at home. Hubby had the eggplant parmesan, and I had the chicken francese. For my appetizer, I had the mozzarella carozza. I never had something like that before. It was amazing."

"Christmas music playing, kind owners greeting us, good service, the best homemade bread, & amazing lasagna!! I highly recommend making reservations as the restraunt is small & fills up quickly. Ask for the table by the bar if you have 8-10 people, it creates a nice & private setting. We also had the chicken parm & alfredo pasta, which was really good too!"

"My husband and I went here for our one year anniversary and we were not disappointed! We had been missing really good Italian food like we have found when we lived in New York- this restaurant was absolutely delicious and the service was really great! We will definitely return!"

"We were looking for a place to stop in Canton on our way back from North Georgia. Being a Sunday, a good restaurant is hard to fine. We found Mama Onesta's and luckily they had a cancelled reservation which we were glad to accept. The place is a great small old world Italian place. Atmosphere was wonderful. There are probably about a dozen tables so reservations are highly recommended. Our server Rachel was excellent. Attentive and very pleasant and conversational. Melanie (one of the owners) visited with us as well. All of which makes you feel like your family/friends of old. Prices were good and the servings were generous. Enough for a take home lunch the next day. We had the Shrimp Parmigiana and the Chicken Scarpariello. Both were very good and hearty. Not typical italian but I would say these were a bit more Tuscany region. Definitely will return and so nice to find a nice quiet Italian place in the world of wings and BBQ."
