Waffle House

"When you walk into this Waffle House, and there are people sitting at only two tables. One would assume that you'd be able to get a seat. Not here. Every table looked like a bomb went off all while four employees spent the 15 minutes we waited just talking and laughing. No hello, no it'll be a minute. Nothing. Good thing there is one of these places every exit from here till the Mason Dixon line."

"I walked thru the doors with absolutely no greeting from the employees. Sat down at the bar right beside the cash register and two employees talking to each other gave me a glance and continued their conversation. After two minutes of watching the riff raff and the couple I held the door open for not being waited on either I got up and walked to my car and drove to McDonald's where I ordered breakfast for 3 adults with no problem."

"Best Waffle House experience I've ever had and I've been going to them for over 40 years. Waitress was phenomenal! I'm a sweet tea drinker and like lemons in it, she brought me 2 in the first glass and a had a refill on the table before I was empty, with 2 more lemons. Ordered the Texas Patty Melt and she brought Waffle House sauce for me on the side. I had never heard of it and didn't know they had it and she recommended it and it was amazing. Made the patty melt. Ordered a waffle to split with my nephew and she brought it cut in half on 2 plates. And as we were finishing up she brought us each a sweet tea to go, with lemons. My nephew said that he wanted to come back and he's from out of state. He also called his wife from the car and raved about the experience and hopes that his kids have an experience like this for their first visit to A Waffle House. The restaurant was clean, friendly staff, great food, but the service was outstanding and even though this restaurant is almost an hour from my house, I'll be back and bring friends and family. Thank you so much for making our day!"

"The only 5 stars restaurant review I've given. I grew up eating Waffle House. I don't agree with gravy on harsh browns. I can ignore that. Everything else they do for me is just good. Try it. Get everyone together, get in a vehicle, and go there. Halfway through your meal, you'll find I am right. You are too! Chocolate pie, and it is something you will talk about it for 4 days minimum. Airborne!"

"My son loves waffle house so we went on the way! This one was extremely popular at 8.30am but we managed to get a table and the service was good and food as you would expect from waffle house."
