"The food is usually good at this restaurant. My husband always enjoys the Sunday Fried Chicken meal and I usually get the grilled chicken tenders platter. Lately we have been there the last two Sundays . However they are extremely busy and there are very long waits to get your orders served to you. I would recommend going during the week and you will have better service. I enjoy strolling around the country store. I like the new things they put up for holiday specials. It can be chilly in there at times. You may need a sweater."

"The food was good. Cracker Barrel has decreased their portion sizes and increased their prices. They used to bring out corn muffins and biscuits with an assortment of jams and jellies ahead of the meal. They are only provided if it's part of your meal. The atmosphere was fair. The oil lamps were disassembled on the tables and none were lit. The ceiling fan kept clicking as it went around. ( turn it off already!!) We were seated in the 3rd section away from everyone. I said to my son, " must be we smell" . We were seated in an area where no one else was seated. The waitress we had needed to be asked to refresh our drinks and she was more interested in her shift ending than " waiting" on us."

"11/16/23 Came today & our waitress (Tiffany) was super friendly & kept our drinks filled & the food was pretty good. I just wished my hashbrown casserole would have been more hot. Other than that, it was a decent breakfast. Check out the Christmas ornaments. They are so adorable!! (Little Doritos bags, mac n cheese, ketchup bottles, spam, pop tarts, etc... sooo cute!!)"

It tasted ok but weren't made with dumplings but dumplings noodles and seemed to have been sitting for awhile in a warming oven as the noodles were pasty.. corn muffin and fried apples were good and hashbrown casserole my husband had was good. The place is decorated very quaint and I hot to sit by fireplace!! Gift shop was sweet."
