LA Fitness

"I enjoy LA fitness as my gym of choice. For a while I went to another gym because they opened up closer to my home but it just didn't provide the same atmosphere conducive to pressing myself in the gym. Some of the amenities I enjoy most at LA are definitely the kids club (my daughter loves it there too) and the sauna. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because the sauna is always packed every time I go. I wish it were larger or maybe if they had more than one so we weren't packed in there like sardines. But I work with what they have."

"This is my go-to facility. It’s huge and a very relaxed gym. There’s no air of judgement within the staff or the members. And it has a variety of cool amenities to use. The staff is also chill, helpful, and open to any concerns that you bring them"

"Rendering lawn care and pressure washing services around town, it's important that I must stay strong and fit. So I come to this LA Fitness gym to keep myself going. And I recently started learning how to swim using their heated pool a nice thing to have. There's no shame, at least I'm learning and I'm getting good too."

"This is my local gym, I absolutely love the sauna but they definitely should get ahold of the female side always down for no reason but other an that little issue they have all the equipment you need, disability parking, wipes to clean down your equipment, filtered water fountain to refill your water bottles, classes & plenty more. *Update* New Year, I can say since then the sauna has never been down ! Great gym ☺️"

"Went today as part of a free 3 day trial. When I went to show the voucher I printed they didn’t scan it or anything, really didn’t even look at it and said “have them scan it next time”. But there was no offer or explanation of facilities, they were very dismissive. There are a lot of carpeted areas, which probably explains the odd smelling locker room. There was no music or anything playing. I wandered around the gym aimlessly looking for what equipment was where, and was never approached by staff. The equipment was all dirty and some practically in need of repair. Honestly they could all use updating. In the free weights area there weren’t any dumbbells from 5-30lbs on the rack at all. Well I found them, they were just strewn across the floor near other equipment. Overall, I was excited at the potential “upgrade” coming from planet fitness, but aside from more free weights (that you have to search for), it didn’t do much for me personally."
