"Jim Nicks in Acworth, GA, has become my go-to dining destination, and my experience has consistently been nothing short of fantastic. Without fail, I find myself ordering the same delectable dish – the whole chicken cut up bone-in picnic style, accompanied by a mouthwatering half rack of ribs and an indulgent dozen cornbread muffins. The flavors are consistently impeccable, and the portion sizes are generous. What truly sets Jim Nicks apart is the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff, particularly Mattie, who has been consistently accommodating and kind over the four years I've been coming here. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious offerings make Jim Nicks a culinary haven, and I look forward to many more delightful dining experiences at this establishment."

"Delicious BBQ FAST! Say YES to the brisket! You can thank me later. The sides are also wonderful. Try the collards and Mac. The sweet tea is addictive!"

"Food looked great at first but after a few bites it was noticable that it was bland. The mac and cheese started to get dry towards the end, the baked beans weren't really sweet enough to me. The ribs weren't good at all, I kept running into too much fat and it was salty. The Carolina style pork sauce was really good. I definitely liked the tang of it, but the pulled pork itself was dry and bland. The cheese muffins are awesome though!"

"I stopped in because I love their brisket. By the time I got to the register and decided on the salad with brisket added, I forgot to ask for lean, and the lady at the register didn't ask my choice. While waiting for my food, it dawned on me when I heard the guy at the second register ask someone if they wanted marbled or lean. When my salad arrived, my brisket was on the side and it was almost nothing but chopped up fat. I probably had one ounce of meat total attached to the fat. I chalked it up to me forgetting and didn't ask them to take it back. The salad had fresh ingredients and the little cheesy corn muffins were really good."

"New to the area, and them not being busy really, after ordering, getting drinks, and getting a seat, it took them 40 minutes to bring us our biscuits and appetizer. The tea was pure sugar, our food was warm at best, the cheese on the appetizer wasn’t melted. We ordered two of the same app, they were delivered to the table with different things on them. I’ve paid less money for three times as much meat as I got with my entrée, and the brisket entree was mostly fat. We will not be returning. I paid nearly $70 for 4 people, 2 of which are small children, to eat less than we would’ve gotten anywhere else."
