"Pulled pork was very good. The fries and okra were a bit bland, but well cooked and paired well with their BBQ sauce. Service was good and the staff friendly. Nice quite atmosphere at well at lunch."
"The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the pulled pork platter was so so. The pork tasted a little bland to my taste tho not the worst I have had. The Brunswick stew was not good.. too much of a ketchup flavor and not much else. I went during off period but the interior was nice enough for a local hangout."

"First time back after the remodel. Me and my dining companion both got the 12oz ribeye with baked potatoes. One of the best steaks I've ever had, always very good there. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend."
"Upon arrival we waited about 15-20 minutes to be seated. It was quite busy. Once seated the server took our drink orders and asked if we were ready to order... we hadn't even had a minute to look at the menu and 1 of our party wasn't even there yet... she brought our drinks and asked again... we felt a bit rushed. Once we ordered, our appetizers came very quickly. Our food came out before we could finish half of the appetizers. Portions were large but the ribs were...skimpy and tough to say the least. The Mac and cheese was mush...extremely over cooked noodles. Onion rings were great but you only get 2. The pulled pork was good and much better than the beef. Okra was ok. Overall I give atmosphere a 4.7, service a pushy 4.2, and food an underwhelming 4.1. I/we had very high hopes as the smell when driving by makes you salivate and we had wanted to try this place for quite a while now. We might consider trying it again in hopes it was an off night but I'm not sure. Prices were fair and restaurant was mostly clean."
