Migo the Mobile Mechanic

"Just want to share my great experience with Migo the mechanic and Stephanie. I was travelling from Canada to Florida with my family on Friday jan12/23 and my truck steering locked at a restaurant in Macon, Georgia. I could not start my truck despite trying every google suggestion. I soon found out that all the service garages in the area could not take my vehicle until Mon jan14 so things didn’t look good. I must admit I was apprehensive and unsure about using Migo Mobile Service at first but BOY WAS I WRONG. Migo the mechanic quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem as a faulty starter. Although I was bit reluctant, I went with his recommendation. He then drove me to the parts store close by where the counter staff all seemed to know him. Because of that, I got a great price on a new starter. We returned to my truck in the restaurant parking lot where he quickly completed the installation. Omg, i was so impressed and elated when I turned the ignition key and my truck started. I was back on the road heading to Florida on Saturday jan12. Thank you so much Migo. "My experience with Migo the mechanic was nothing short of a miracle. My family was traveling from Tennessee to Orlando, Florida during our travel to caliper bolts on the front driver side came disassembled. We pulled over to a Macon hotel in a panic. I googled mobile mechanics and called the first one that came across my screen. I called Migo’s at approximately 10pm Tuesday evening and spoke to Stephanie she assured me that they had the parts I needed and were on their way. About 45 minutes later Bryan and Stephanie arrive and text me that they were there and they were parked by my vehicle. Before I arrived Bryan had already went to work. After an hour of meticulous planning, execution, and follow through Bryan had my Nissan Murano back on the road and fully functioning. Bryan and Stephanie were two of the most genuine people I have met. Bryan is thorough, precise, and diligent. I give Migo’s 5 stars. They went above and beyond to help my family get back on the road and to our destination. Blessing and a miracle. Bryan is gifted. Houdini like. I am thankful that this service was available. They truly helped me in my time of need. God send."

"Migo the mechanic has great reviews for being knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced. That was not our experience. While at school, my niece's car would not start. She had a friend to try a jump start. When the jump start was unsuccessful, she called Migo. Migo charged $100.00 to come out, $50.00 for a scan and reached the conclusion that the car needed a $7.00 fuse. After paying the $157.00, the car would start but would not move. She was then told that the scan determined that the throttle position sensor needed to be replace and stated that a tune-up should also be performed. The cost for the repairs were quoted at an additional $486.00. She did not allow them to perform the repairs. I called Migo and spoke with a female. I questioned the need for a tune-up and asked for a quote without the tune-up. She stated that the mechanic recommended that after replacing the sensor, the tune-up should be performed. I asked if it was possible that the jump start had blown additional fuses and if that could be the problem. The female returned to the phone and said that she had spoken with the mechanic and he said that a blown fuse could not be the problem. I decide to seek a second opinion from another mechanic. The second mechanic checked the fuses and within minutes concluded that a 10amp fuse had been blown. He stated that an incorrect jump start could have caused the fuse to blow. After replacing the one fuse, the car was back to normal. The car did not need a sensor, a tuneup or $643.00 worth of repairs. Could Migo have been following the advice of his scanner? It's possible. What I find impossible is that an experienced mechanic checked the fuses and only found one bad fuse. What I believe is that Migo determined that a young female did not know any better and decided to take advantage of her. The next day I received a text from Migo asking when would we like to schedule for the repairs. I sent a response explaining that another mechanic had changed one fuse and had repaired the car. Migo never responded back."

"I gotta say, I appreciate Migo and Stephanie's promptness. They are available to come out TO YOU rather than hoping your regular mechanic will be able to get to it maybe that week. My car has been going through it, but I know I can depend on Migo to clear it up. I appreciate how he was very clear with price of parts and I was confident that I was priced fairly. You can trust Migo as he is very thorough and transparent with his diagnostic. He has 20+ years experience and he is passionate about his job. I am impressed with his work and business!"

"My husband and I were stranded with our 3 kids last night on the side of the road at 1 am. Migo and his wife happened to drive by us on their way home and stopped to help. Our tire had a small hole in it and my husband didn't get paid until today so we had no money on us. Migo jacked up our car, threw so fix a flat and some air in our tire and told us to be safe. I told him I would reach out to him today to pay him and they just smiled at us and again told us to be safe. We called them today to come by and replace the tire and pay them for their kindness last night. We wound up not only having to replace our tire but their was also something dangerously wrong with our left front wheel. Within a few hrs our front right tire was replaced as well as Migo got all the parts, repaired our left front wheel issue and had us back on the rd and at a very affordable price. Not only was.he extremely friendly and caring by making sure we got our kids home safely last night but he repaired the issue In.our vehicle today in an extremely timely and affordable manner. This couple is not only super caring and helpful but the level of experience in his business shows . I would not and will nkt.use anyone else for my repairs but Migo.and you . shouldn't either."
