"I originally wrote a post, which probably was with my personal not school email account a while back but I was told by the owner that it was very mean and dishonest. So I removed it for some time so they could rectify the situation. I did have a good conversation with him at the time and he shared what happened from their perspective, but unfortunately we don't share the same perspective on the experience. I personally wish on my part that I had requested the most in-depth inspection PRIOR to any work being done or even telling them what I noticed. I’m not sure if they even fully inspected the vehicle b4 and/or after to make sure everything was ok. I say this because in the time period I had work on the vehicle, 8/6-8/12 ish, there were three different occasions, two for the same related thing (meaning me leaving and coming back) in which the diagnosis for the problem changed/“updated” to include more things. Leaving me to believe that an in-depth inspection wasn’t conducted for at least one of those times. In my attempt to be a wise consumer especially because I don't make much, I researched and recorded things I noticed about the vehicle and relayed to the shop what I thought was the problem. Originally it was a maintain start issue which turned into an overheating issue. They concluded a few things at first, fixed the distributor and crank position sensor. Paid almost $1000 to fix a car barely worth $2k. Within the same day had more problems later with steam/smoke , and was told it was water residue and to drive vehicle for a couple hundred miles ( I volunteer in Austell with foster kids that day). When noticed more overheating heating signs to run properly they fixed belts, seals, gaskets bringing it up to almost $2000. Come to find out even after that, leaving over a 2 week period they discover a "stressed" AKA. blown head gasket. All these things paid for to repair, which I agreed to do, so the blame will never be completely on them but like they will quickly remind you as the experts, they did their best. But they should've extensively looked at the vehicle and determined that it was well over the value to repair and communicated ALL of the things they noticed the first time rather than checking a box to see if it runs for 5-10 minutes and driving around PIB. I felt like in the end there was honestly little accountability from them, when they tried to reassure me they did the best they could to help me make the best decision for my car. Unfortunately, as I finish paying the remainder of the credit card I put the payment on for this repair from August, I don't discourage people from using there services or think ill will towards Sal and their crew, I just hope moving forward they are straight with as much information about the vehicles needs even if it shorts them on business. Because that will, at the end of the day, show that you're really in it for the people."
"Hands down the best shop for all your car needs. Ive been taking my 4Runner there for almost 2 years now, driving from SC. And yes, I will continue to bring it there every time. They are honest and trustworthy, and I know not only I, but my 4Runner are in good hands. "Update: I am appreciated Shad, OM of the shop. He is really very good at customer relations. After knew my issue, he contacted me and did his best to support me. My car had been taken back to the shop and finished needed services. Everything is good now. I will try services for my RX here also and can rate to 5stars if the shop could keep up excellence services as Shad's commitment. My LS is good now but still need time to experiment. Thank you Shad and your team, ------------ I gave them 1 star for the courtesy only, but the job is very disappointed. I came here because they sent leaflets to my house saying that they are expert in Japan cars. When I bring my Lexus there for maintenance and check, they quoted me replacing for front strut about $1800. Ok, signed the quote. The next day (because they need to order parts) I came to drop my car for replacing, until I got back to my office, they called and excused to someone at Lexus quoted they wrong, the price should be ~$4200. I could agree or I could take my car back. Very very disappointed"
