"A code diagnostic is $165 that's about $100 too much. The Express down the street charges about $70. Yes it can also be done for free at other places. They literally plug a little computer into your car and it spits out the origin of the code. When a car place gouges on the small things, they will gouge on the big things. I have no problem paying..."
"Google is not showing my original review for some reason. Long story short, they are dishonest and charged me a good deal of money to change my front pads, rear shoes, rear cylinders, master cylinder, and flush and bleed my brakes. On the 3rd time of taking it to them about the brakes they didn't look up the vehicle history and called and told me that all of those same components needed to be replaced. I reminded them that they had already done it and then he looked it Jeffrey looked it up and agreed I had paid for those services and said it would be taken care of. When I got my vehicle back it was clear that they didn't test drive it because my vehicle became un-drivable. I took it to another mechanic shop who said they replaced the master cylinder, the rear shoes, and one rear cylinder. They did not replace the front brake pads, one of the rear cylinders, or flush the brake fluid. Also, though the rear shoes were replaced they were so badly misadjusted that the new shoes on the driver rear now needs to be replaced because it is so damaged. If you value receiving the services that you paid for I would look somewhere else."
