"I tried Local Farmbag for a few months. I've used other delivery produce services in the past in other cities. While the produce was mostly okay (I found the strawberries to be old, the fruit to often have small bruises, and the lettuce has been 50/50 wilted), all of which generally reduces my perception of a good value, my biggest complaint is that they send an email Sunday night (up to 8:30pm) that you have to respond to by Tuesday at 3pm to make any changes to your orders. I was getting a small bag, and because there's a lot of repeat produce, I often have to sub at least one item weekly. I also have had to skip a handful of weeks due to travel. If you are even a few hours late with your email response, they won't adjust your order or skip the week, even if you're going to be out of town. One week, I ordered Tupelo honey and received just normal honey, which they did comp when I pointed it out, but I really wanted the Tupelo honey and no effort was made to correct that. I think they're generally still ironing out the kinks of this business, and the inflexibility isn't helpful for long term customers. Given I don't have time to babysit my email and had a number of produce issues here and there, I decided to cancel this service because the "convenience" wasn't all that convenient when I had to supplement from the store anyway."
