"As a patient at this practice, I felt unheard and my concerns were ignored. I've utilized this practice for almost a year. To date, my main complaint has yet to be remedied or fully addressed. I've been strung along for appointments, without adequate care to my voiced concerns regarding my health. The fact that this doctor is okay with a client continously expressing concerns about heavy bleeding, pain and naturally says "it's your weight." Yes, that is a factor but let's not minimize my pain or concerns about heavy bleeding. I might add, I'm soaking through clothes daily. I'm simply told it's a risk to explore surgery. Okay, so referral for weight loss surgery isn't a risk? The bedside manners are another matter. I'd rather you simply say, you don't want to engage with patients that ask questions who happen to fit a different demographic. Cultural competency training would be helpful."

"(*UPDATE* Thank you, Mgr. Nicole, for calling me on this issue and changing my review because they took the time to call and see what happened.) Grace was great but arrived at 9:40am for a 10am appt and with my niece who had an 11am appt. Everyone was called back to a room but me until 11:30am. Not sure what I did wrong but I don't think it was by accident."

"PLEASE READ!! This whole office is the epitome of low quality healthcare with very unprofessional staff and unskilled providers. If you're new to the Evans/Augusta area, STAY AWAY! If you are looking for a great patient care, ample patient education, and a provider that follows up with you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I never read the reviews before going here but, once I did, the negative ones seem to have the same pattern. The doctor does not care about her patients or their concerns. She tells the nurses to communicate with you, and the nurses have no idea what they're doing and are VERY RUDE. I told the nurse i wanted to speak to the doctor about the medication the PA put me on because i got 2 second opinions from different doctors, and neither of the 2 recommended i take that medication. (BTW the reason i got a second opinion was because Grace told me to go on google to find out more about my pcos) -If im going to YOU for medical advice and paying you, why would i go on google?- The doctor explicitly told the nurse she didn't want to see me for another 2 months, I asked why and the nurse told me to calm down and that she had no further explanation. Obviously, just people looking to get paid and live their miserable lives."

"Dr. Carlson is a wonderful physician who I have found to be very personable, had has always made me feel extremely comfortable. Her staff are always professional and attentive. Even though I feel frustrated at times on how long I wait at times to see her, I have to remind myself that She allows plenty of time for all her patient to ask questions & explains things well to all her patients. So, the wait is worth it. When I would see her physician assistant Grace Long, she is also very personable, gentle, caring genuinely makes my visit comfortable. I would highly recommend this office."
