"September 2023 Update - Took my coach to Cummins Savannah for its annual service. Once again, Corey and Josh were the best!! Thorough, communicative, and excellent work. I feel fortunate to have these guys relatively close by. July 2022 Update - Just had another 5-star experience with my "annual service" on my motorhome. Fluids and filters for my big red engine and Onan genset. Service advisor Corey came in under my cost estimate, and technician Josh (newly transferred in from another Cummins location) did great work. They are both excellent communicators. Highly recommended. March 2022 - Had a coolant leak on my motorhome. I found the apparent spot of the leak, but couldn't get at it myself. Mr. Leslie Teston, my service advisor, worked with me to set an appt time, and when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my coach would go in immediately for a diagnostic check. During this check, it was discovered I had more than one loose coolant hose clamp. All clamps were checked and tightened as needed DURING the diagnostic check, and it was also discovered the ECM needed to be re-flashed per Cummins factory bulletin. That was also accomplished. I was back on the road quickly. Other shops had told me it would be weeks to months before I could even get an appt. Mr. Leslie Teston and Cummins - Savannah take a different approach by giving the opportunity for the initial diagnostic check. Yes, with parts and labor issues that we all know about, you might unavoidably end up parked and waiting; but with their process providing the initial "triage," you might get lucky like I did. Whatever happens, the willingness to take a look in a timely manner, and fix a simple problem, if that's what the diagnostics indicate, is refreshing and appreciated. My thanks to Leslie, Kevin (the boss), my service tech (whose name I did not get -- sorry,) and Cummins - Savannah for their help and for doing business in a way different from other shops. Cummins - Savannah will now be my engine shop and I will also be moving my annual motorhome service to them."

"Avoid service from this Cummins dealer. We have had incompetent service from their technician that cost us valuable time and money resourcing the issues. I would think changing an impeller in a Cummins diesel engine & generator would be elementary."

"Visited cummings business Savannah-portwenworth on 17 February 2023 on return trip to have a broken passenger side mirrow replaced on my 2021 59g winnebago RV. For me, the customer services and sales-service departments are the most important departments in a business. Reasoning; these are the first department personnels you meet once you enter the business. These individuals are the first line of communications representation of a busines that sets the tone and mood of how a customer view that business. With that being said; I would like to give Kevin Fox south region service manager kudos for being a standup individual. He ordered my side mirrow and kept me abreast of when the product would be delivered from the factory. I was able to set up appointment to have the mirrow replaced, and was allowed to wait on the work to be completed in a very timely manner. Thanks Kelvin, I will use this business-services again in the future and recommend it to my friends and colleagues."

"I have a Cummins whole home generator that needs its first service and I also wanted to set up an annual maintenance contract. Today is August 12th. I called for weeks and was told the gentleman I need to speak with is out in class but would return Monday which never happened. Call 3 more times with similar results. Finally was told they were short handed but was going to email their technician who is very busy due to being only field service person supposedly, but would definitely be in touch with me in a FEW days. This was on a Friday 2 weeks ago. If you have a motor home it may be possible to get serviced according to comments probably because they service on premises. I would much rather someone tell me they have no idea when I can be scheduled rather than this runaround. Hopefully they read this and decide to call Back . They certainly have my number."
