SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbia near Fort Jackson 170 East Exchange Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29209

"The rooms are spacious, different with their own class and comfortable, free breakfast, and the patio area outside is perfect! You have a grill, a fire pit, tables, a television, and comfortable seating. Very good location also. When I need a place to parlay, I'll be here. For this area, it's what I consider high-tech for great value."

"Great location, the room was clean and had a lot of space along with a desk to work at. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of sense of urgency when putting out the breakfast in a timely manner. I noticed service members coming to the lobby but it wasn't nothing for them to grab early morning when they are off to work. In addition, I went to a restaurant to get breakfast because it wasn't setup in a timely manner."

"Always pleased with the Marriott line. The room at this one had a couple of small issues. The chair in the room appeared to have suffered some structural stress and leaned to one side a little more than it should. The bathroom looked clean but there was a smell of urine that seemed to be coming from the area between the toilet and the wall. This is not my normal experience with Marriott. It is normally five star in this area."

"Beautiful room. Everything was clean. A definite step up from lower rated motels but well worth the price, which was only marginally higher than the lesser motels. Nice TV, great desk work area, good lighting, a bed that was comfy enough. The only quibble was the hvac unit blows right across the bed and the louvers directing the air aren't adjustable. Any staff we dealt with were pleasant. I will definitely be looking to stay at SpringHill Suites on future travels."
