"Dr. Wood and his staff are rude, inconsiderate. I came up there for flu like symptoms, plus excruciating pain in my pelvic area. Not only did this horrible human being deny my request for a vaginal, pelvic ultrasound but denied my request for a CT scan. We are paying you guys bills, so how can you deny me any type of treatment. He sent me back home in pain with some TYLENOL ! Then had the audacity to tell me to schedule an appointment with my OB, and they can conduct the ultrasound for me. Duhhh don’t you think I did that! Obviously the appointment I have with them was pushed so far out, so I had no choice but to come to the ER. I didn’t need medication, I needed answers to why I’ve been in pain for three weeks! So, when they send that bill it won’t get paid ! This place is a joke. Then, he didn’t even want to test me for the flu! Told me he’ll just treat me for it! I had to make him test me."

"I love St Mary’s! From the registration to the nurses. Everyone is so pleasant and caring. I had a mammogram today and I was a lil anxious but the technician voice was so sweet and calming that my anxiety went away immediately. I highly recommend going to St Mary’s if you want the best care!"

"Tonight I had to bring my daughter to St. Mary's. Not the hospital I wanted to bring her too but it was the closest. My daughter has been vomiting and had passed out at home and she busted her knee. I was terrified so I brought her on to Lavonia. When we arrived no one was in the lobby. We waited maybe 7 mins to be called back. Once we got to the room the nurse was very nice and gentle with my daughter and explained to her what she thought maybe wrong to comfort me and my daughter. By far the best nurse we ever had at St. Mary's. The doctor came in and was very caring and was gentle with my daughter and made sure he did everything he could to help her. This shift at St Mary's is the best I have ever seen at St Mary's. If all the employees that work at Starts were like this crew this hospital would be the best hospital around! Thank you to all the staff here tonight. Sincerely Ashley Zimmer"

"By far one of the worst experiences from a hospital. Not only did the nurses make my father feel like a pain, but they were also negligent and rude. The first day my father was there he was brought into the ER at 9 AM. They moved him to a hospital bed, but that wasn’t until 5 PM. I then asked the nurse if my dad could have food around 7 PM to which she replied, he was only here for two hours, and that he didn’t need any to which I told her That he was in the ER before this, and that he was in the hospital for 10 hours without anything to eat or offered. Out of the eight days my father was there. The nurses handed him a pill, which was it in a cup. My father dropped it since he was in the ER for a bad infection in his arm from a snake bite to it, he could barely move his arm. She then proceeded to tell him he should’ve grabbed the pill with his good arm, and he better find it. Fast forward to eight days after he’s already stayed at Sacred Heart and they have to transfer him outside of Atlanta because their surgeon did not want to touch my father and made no comment upon it around 1:30 AM. My father arrived at a hospital outside of Atlanta, to which the doctor and surgeon were absolutely horrified to see the condition that the nurses and doctors left my dad in for eight days at Sacred Heart, the doctor then proceeded to call the head nurse and told her how absolutely horrifying it was that they let my father stay in a bed in this condition getting worse as the time went on. The nurse was speechless, and the surgeon from Sacred Heart still wanted to make no comment. This is absolutely disgusting. My father was brought in the ER septic. There was speculation of him, not being able to keep his arm as well when he first arrived yet the nurses did nothing. The doctors did nothing and the surgeon wouldn’t even make a comment. My family put the life of our father in their hands, and they made his condition worse. Our new hat doctor said “on “it was criminal to leave you like this for 8 days.”"
