"The people that work there are so incredibly friendly. The manager went out of his way for us. I really wish I could give a better review just based on the people. But unfortunately the friendliness of the people only go so far when I want to recline in my sofa and I can’t. Because this is the second couch we’ve gotten in the last year from them that has broken. Yes, you read that correctly. Not one, but two couches failed to make it one whole year. We are a couple with no children, it’s just two of us, and two dogs that do nothing but sleep. I can’t imagine how quickly this furniture would fall apart had it the responsibility to support a family. It’s always the recliners with the couches. But the “wooden” dining room table now has finish flaking off to reveal a plastic surface underneath. The people only go so far in an industry that has chosen to cut corners, substitute bioengineered wood or plastic for real wood, plastic instead of metal, etc. I find myself realizing that if you want quality furniture nowadays you have to spend a LOT of money (I’m talking tens of thousands), buy old furniture and hope it’s in good enough shape, or hope to have the energy to restore it. Because the junk that is being passed off as furniture isn’t worth the hard earned dwindling value of the dollars I spent on it. The worst part about buying shoddy furniture is having to spend even more money to dispose of it, so you’re losing out twice. Do yourself a favor. Go yard-saling, go to an estate sale, go somewhere that has furniture that was made in a time where “craft” and “pride” could be used in the same sentence. The furniture gets negative 3 stars, the people 5 stars, this they get 2 generous starts from me."
