Whispering Pines RV Park

"Park won't return deposit. The park conveniently lost the deposit records of many staying there. Rent was always paid on time, my lot stayed organized, and it was 100% spotless when I left. It was a slap in the face to not recieve my deposit after cleaning up so well upon moving out. Should have left everything there. Other than this corruption, its otherwise the nicest park in the county. Try another one instead in the surrounding areas, such as Creekfire in Savannah. EDIT: In response to park reply- I am not mistaken. I personally know your staff very well, and they are very nice people. (Dawn, etc) Won public lawsuit records prove otherwise in regards to refused deposits. I can provide names for anyone else inquiring."

"We’ve been here about a month and love where we now call home! Dawn has been amazing from the initial phone call on, she’s been nothing but helpful, attentive and personable. The park is clean and quiet. The laundry facility is always neat and tidy, thanks to Mrs. Judy. We know we’ve found the right place for us."

"This is a terrible place to stay! The campground host Dawn Mahoney is rude and takes care of nothing! Better check your power boxes because there not up to code! We made no less that 4 attempts to have fixed nothing ever done we almost lost our pets! Effingham county fire Marshal should inspect entire facility! Would never recommend this place! A 1 star rating is to good didn't offer a zeto"

"It’s fairly clean and Donna in the office is nice however they have not updated or repaired anything since I’ve been coming here in 2018 my picnic table was broke and I asked on the first day if I can get a new one and I asked again to get a different one, so my grandkids could come out to dinner. We are packing up and leaving and still do not have a picnic table."

"We travel full time and this is by far one of the best we’ve been to. Friendly staff and residents + they keep the place looking amazing. Check out the trail around the lake and bbq pits by the beach. Come check out this hidden gem"
