"Terrible experience with a homeowners claim. Mr. Terry Carter does not return phone calls, emails, or text messages. You are on your own when you have a claim. Staff will tell you Mr. Terry Carter is away from his desk or on vacation. Appartently his staff never knows when he will be in the office. Mr. Terry Carter made one phone call to Allstate on my behalf and never followed up with them or me. Finally after 4 plus weeks I finally tracked Mr. Terry Carter down and spoke to him on the phone. He informed me that he did everything he could do and he would not be helping with my claim any further and hung up on me. I had to deal with the claim on my own, and after 3 plus months of working with inspectors/adjusters/contractors it was finally determined that my property had hail damage."
"Horrible, nightmare of an experience. Yelled at me the whole time. Yelled at my sister on the phone. Not professional at all. I was crying and shaking until I was able to safely drive home. Who treats customers in this manner? No apology whatsoever. No excuse for his fearful behavior. Clearly not a people person. NEVER AGAIN. I have to wonder if he would have treated a MAN the same way? I think NOT. This happened Monday, August 21 2023 and I am still reeling in shock and disbelief."
