"UPDATE US Dept. of Justice has replied on 12/26/2023, and judged this to be LEGITIMATE complaint. We are currently looking at options. _____________ The company replied on 10/27/2023 19:44 and they state that what we wrote here is untrue. THIS tax service company is the one trying to spin the story to save their behind. We called on 10/13/2023 around noon and the person who answered the call FLATLY refused us. The US department of Justice was notified THAT day IMMEDIATELY after the incident, they are looking into it. Unlike this lying company, We are honest people who just needed taxi service and was denied for having service animal. WE don't make things up, and WE don't send false report to US Dept. of Justice. ___________________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 10/13/2023 we called to use this company, told them we have a guide dog, and they FLATLY refused us. because as they stated "we have new cars, and people with service animals have caused problems" we made them aware that they are breaking the federal law, yet they still refused us. Apparently, they did not care that they willingly and knowingly broke the federal law. They may face the consequences of their act. American Disability Act (Federal Law) guide line states: Taxicab companies may not refuse to provide services to individuals with disabilities. Private taxicab companies are also prohibited from charging higher fares or fees for transporting individuals with disabilities and their service animals than they charge to other persons for the same or equivalent service"
